Bonita Beach Resort Motel - Motel in Bonita Springs - 26395 Hickory Blvd #2, USA

Spent a week here in Feb 2021. We had one of the upstairs rooms, which had a small bedroom with two double beds, along with a little kitchen and living area. The room was very clean and well equipped, including kitchen cookware. We appreciated the full size fridge - they even had beach towels and chairs, which were really nice. The location is great - right across from a public access walkway to the beach. Public beach parking in this area is almost impossible to find, so you'll really appreciate the easy beach access. We also rented a pontoon boat at a discounted rate, since we also rented a room. Would definitely stay here again if we have the chance.

What a find! Modest, relaxed, clean, comfy, with beach gear, books and puzzles available from the laundry room on the honor system. 2 minute walk to the beach via Access #8. Walking distance to a nice grill restaurant. Reasonable price for the location. I had a one bedroom with full kitchen, even a recliner. Picnic tables to have my meals outside or upstairs on the deck. So pleased I found this place! Perfect for a retreat. You can rent a pontoon on site and even fish right there in the canal.

We were so lucky to find this place! They reopened that day we arrived. Staff is really helpful. The location is amazing - close to the beach and boat rentals at your steps, which can be a bit noisy but still very convenient. The one bedroom apartment is fully equipped. The only issue that kept me from giving 5 stars was a chemical smell in the bathroom. Otherwise everything is very nice. Definitely recommend.

This was my compromise choice- I got great beach access, he got fishing. The hotel is a very much "Old Florida" but the staff went out of their way to accommodate us. He could fish right off the dock at night. If we were staying longer we would have rented a pontoon for the day. The room was very clean- but dated furnishings (he loved the well used barco- lounger). The bathroom supplied with quality products. They supplied beach chairs, floats, etc. great family choice. It was a shame to see all the older beach houses replaced with 4 storied mega mansions.

Well kept. Small but nice public areas for relaxing. Pool is warm and newly refinished and clean. Bed and bedding and towels were great. Everything was spotless. Shower was strong by hotel standards. Only thing missing was a coffee maker. Will definitely be back whenever visiting Bonita-Ft Myers-Estero. ||Lots of nice restaurants within 2 miles. We love Leonis' Pizza and Sweet Melissa's for dessert.

I'll firstly say we have very high clean standards, to give this hotel a higher rating I definitely think some fresh carpets or even better a nice wooden floor would be great so it could be cleaned would top it off. I didn't feel comfortable being bare foot in the room or in the shower.||The room is well stocked and has all you need. You have to clean it yourself / get fresh towels and bed sheets from the laundry room.||But it was comfortable and spacious.||||It's very rustic.. the strong fishy smell from the boats was a little overwhelming at times.

Bonita Beach Resort Motel is a family owned, quiet, comfortable and convenient place to enjoy the beach and the channel. There are pontoon boats on site for rental. My unit was a one bedroom with full kitchen and living room. It even had a recliner! There were two beach chairs in the closet, and from the communal laundry room one can borrow a beach umbrella, noodles, books, puzzles, games, and extra towels for your day at the beach. You simply cross the road and you're at Beach Access #8. Couldn't be better located. You can eat outside at one of the picnic tables on ground floor or up around the second floor, and catch a glimpse of the surf. There is a friendly bar and grill (Big Hickory) a 10 minute walk away and other options within a 5-10 minute drive, including a Publix, gas station and pharmacy. It's the kind of place that people come back to year after year.

Great family owned business. Staff were extremely helpful and if you like fishing and boating, you can easily rent a boat or take a tour of the bay. The room was clean and had a full kitchen, making it easy to come back from boating or the beach for lunch or whatever you want to do to relax. Great location near multiple parks and beaches.
