Who could rate this below a five star?! Homemade sourdough bread, cinnamon rolls slathered in cream cheese frosting, local popcorn, sourdough chocolate chip cookies and gluten free almond cookies. Friendly, smiling staff too! A must visit in Harper's Ferry. Parking lot in the back of the store.

Wonderful bakery with fun, friendly staff. This place is full of surprises. Come back throughout the day as fresh items are constantly being pulled from the ovens. The pretzel curry roll was seriously delicious. They tossed a couple free sugar cookies at us and - ok wow, maybe the best sugar cookies I ever ate. The large chocolate chip cookies are not to be missed. Raisin sourdough bread? Yeah grab that, too before they are gone. Sorry, we got the last bag of biscuits. Good drip coffee. Lots of little extras to buy if you are just popping into town for the weekend and need basic bread and a cheese pack and butter and coffee and sweets.
I am a local. There is no good reason I did not visit this place sooner. I purchased a loaf of the Wild & Wonderful Sourdough, and the Cinnamon Raisin Sourdough. I took it home, sliced it up and fed it the family the Saturday after Thanksgiving. Nobody could think of a time they have had better bread. I will be back soon and look forward to trying other items. Seriously it was that good.
What an amazing bakery! The smells upon entering were divine. We visited with the owner/baker while there and she was delightful. We left with ginger scones and sourdough bread. The bread was a perfect lunch to carry along on our AT hike. If you are visiting I highly recommend this local gem. If you live near here, you have just found your favorite new bakery!
This is an absolutely delicious bakery that has now become a mainstay for my friend group when we go hiking around Harpers Ferry. Makes for a perfect post-hike snack, lunch, or just a spot to stock up on bread! The focaccia bread is to die for. Also, I'm sure there are more places you can get hickory syrup, but I highly recommend grabbing a bottle to try with your pancakes. It's really good.
First time and won't be my last. Beautiful breads and I got the best tasting lavender shortbread cookie and a big tasty almond cookie....I almost turned the car around to get more. They also have coffee soft drinks cheese local jelly and sauces. Do not miss this.... Going back as soon as I can
Its the greatest place on Earth, I can see why a whole town decided to name itself after it! Everything they make is delicious.. chocolate chip cookies, cinnamon rolls, baguettes, sourdough, PEPPERONI ROLLS, focaccia...omg my mouth is watering just thinking about it. They also have some of the kindest, sweetest people working there.
