Bojangles - Restaurant in South Hill - 1105 E Atlantic St, USA

The food was good. Never had bojangles before as they do not have them in Pennsylvania. Cajun chicken was hot and fresh. I felt bad for the staff as the lady behind me was acting like a lunatic complaining that her chicken wings were too big and asking the staff to go through and find her smaller ones. Place was staffed and clean

Today was highly disappointing of an experience. The manager was managing with a wooden spoon and way to bold in addressing her staff. Insulting the cooking and its speed while customers were present and can hear it. I think she just needs some leadership training as I am sure she is good at her job, but she needs to lead through inspiration, not intimidation. The chicken was super greasy today, unlike any other time I have visited a Bojangles.

At the location that I visited, the food was generally good though the fries had not been seasoned. That larger issue was with staff confusion. I ordered a 2 piece tender meal (kids meal) with fries and ice tea. I asked for it to be Bo-sized. And , an extra side of pinto beans (large). I received the order with chicken and the pinto beans only. When I asked for the fries, the server argued that there were no fries on the order because it wasn't called out on the receipt. I explained that I had ordered a meal + the pinto beans but she insisted that I was wrong. But, she offered to provide the fries anyway. After a 5 minute wait, what seemed to be the crew captain asked if I had gotten my fries. I replied no. She seemed exasperated and went to get the fries. Much less than effective service.

Food has really started to go down hill. It's like they are refusing to put quality spices on the food anymore. Tastes just like Churches. Nothing special. I'm switching to Popeyes

Hot, fresh chicken and biscuits! Quick service even with a drive through line around the building! Good chicken! Good biscuits! Polite service. I love getting my chicken and biscuits here.

I ordered an eight piece with biscuits and sweet tea. I ate everything but the breasts that I was saving for later. Your chicken gave me food poisoning. Had cramps and barely made it to the bathroom. Broke out into a cold sweat, laid down some serious heat and felt like I was going to throw up. Ordered through doordash. Worst experience I've had in a long time. Check your chicken. Throw away chicken that's changing colors or smells bad. It WILL NOT COOK OUT!! Bojangles is usually really good. But not this place, this time. Still feeling dizzy😏

The meals were hot 🔥 and the French fries 🍟 nice and not too hard. 😋 We ate in the car since we were headed to another event. What I believed was great was seeing the Associates happy, serving with a Smile and the facilities clean fron the bathroom to the seating area. This shows that Management is on their job fully and keeping the staff in check. Okay, so here's the deal, it was crowded, the patrons to include us were happy, no lines, foods served fast, and the Staff engaged 😉. Put a check here to stop into the next time you are in town. I haven't been to BOJANGLES in a long time. Coming back from Chesapeake I stopped at South Hill and went in. Place wasn't busy but the ladies behind the counter treated me like royalty. Friendly, caring, very professional. I went to ice machine to fill my cup up and it was empty. A gentleman told me I had to go to the counter. Inside I went back to my seat. To my surprise the manager heard the conversation and brought me a cup of ice. People treat you like family. Absolutely the best BOJANGLES I've been in.
