Very small but organized airport. The airport has a nice little gaming area to kill some time. Plenty of restaurants for a small airport. TSA is pretty chill unless you decide to go full throttle Karen/Darren. Massage chairs are available. Filtered water stations are available at this airport too.
Had the misfortune of being rerouted and stuck in this airport for 12hrs due to Delta. Airport itself is very nice, clean and people working there are friendly (excluding Delta they act like toddlers just now learning how to make words) Also these people know how to deal with snow and work hard to keep the place running in the winter 🙌
Had no issues. Got through security quickly. Waited maybe a total of 15 minutes to board my plane. Everyone is super nice too.
This is a very clean and easily accessible airport. TSA security is fast and efficient with staff that is usually friendly. I would’ve ranked it higher if there were more food and beverage options. Until this trip I had only connected through Boise on Southwest. I don’t think I ever even left the plane. I’m glad I got to check it out this time.
I've been flying out of this airport for years to see family. You can generally rely on the Boise airport to be clean, efficient, and friendly (even going through TSA). For new travelers, be aware of limited dining options. You will have a selection to choose from, but as this is a smaller airport, expect limitations. The same goes for in-airport stores, if that's your thing. For whatever management team reads these reviews, my only complaint has been inconsistency with TSA. Kudos for the process itself usually being very quick. However, every time I've been here, asking questions as I'm preparing to get my things through the security line seems to always be met with an air of annoyance. Almost every airport seems to do things a little differently, and many no longer require the removal of tablets and smaller electronics from bags. The same can be said for taking off sweaters before entering the xray machine or removing liquids from bags. I felt the two staff members who were ushering us along could have given more concise instructions (and more helpful responses) instead of simply seeming annoyed and in an hurry. I was one of three people going through TSA on a Friday morning at 7am, and given how dead it was, it just seemed unnecessary and quite frankly detrimental to how good Boise Airport can typically be. I hope this feedback helps, as it seems that there were several folks training in TSA positions when going through. Believe me when I say, we want to get through our security process as quickly and efficiently as you guys do, but help us help you!
Love this airport and how quick it is through security (especially if you have pre-check). My only negative previously has now been fixed, they now have the self tag stations at the Southwest counter so you don't have to wait in the long line anymore just to tag your bags.
Best airport. Security checkpoint only took 5 minutes. Plenty of food options. Everything was clean and in good working order. Love flying out of here.

Great food and very friendly staff. We came with our dog and they accommodated us very well out on the patio and brought him his own water bowl too. The food we had was all great. It's neat to have a place so close where we can get to try handmade au
