My best experience with an electronic repair by far!!! Joe changed my laptop screen in seriously a quarter of the time than the other two places in town yet quoted me the least, and he was beyond friendly, I never leave reviews but I felt like I owed it if I could give more stars I would!!!

Around 2021, I had a spill on the keyboard of my MacBook Pro 13''. I took it to this shop for repairs and the owner said they could fix it by drying it out. After a long week of waiting, I went to pick it up and found that the spacebar, which originally worked, was now non-functional. The owner then proposed replacing the entire keyboard and control board. Another week later, to my surprise, they had swapped my US layout keyboard for a European one without telling me beforehand, which I'm really not comfortable with. Additionally, they claimed that they couldn't return my original damaged keyboard and touchpad because they were 'toxic', which I find suspicious. It feels dishonest, especially since the new keyboard and touchpad are not functioning smoothly. I ended up paying over $700 and didn't even get to keep my old parts, leading me to suspect they might just resell them. Initially, I was using an external Bluetooth keyboard and mouse, and it feels like they took advantage of me being a student. For anyone thinking of getting their MacBook or any Apple product serviced here, I'd say be cautious and consider checking out other shops.

HUGE shout-out to Boiler Tech Solution! My son (freshman at Purdue) dropped his phone, and the touchscreen stopped working. It was locked when it broke, so he couldn't change anything on the phone--including when the alarm went off--he could snooze it, but not stop it. Had to take it to class so he wouldn't drive his roommates insane and continue snoozing it every 8 min 😭. No access to digital school ID made everything a challenge. By searching a FB Purdue parents page--I found several recommendations for Boiler Tech Solutions. Joe was very helpful over the phone and set my mind at ease. My son got a ride from a friend (they are just 2 miles from campus) and took his phone to BTS. Joe took a look at it and felt like he could fix it. My son left the phone there and went back to campus. Joe called me with a few options, then quickly repaired the phone. He allowed me to pay over the phone, and even delivered my son's phone (completely repaired) to campus. Great experience all around. It's so nice to know there are people you can trust to help out when you are far away!! I would definitely recommend them for any computer or cell repairs!!

Great place and highly recommend! Joe was very kind and helpful. I had issues turning my computer on and he was able to fix it after a short amount of time. He also provided an additional cleaning of my charging port. Very quick, kind and effective service. And on top of that, the service was free! Definitely come here for tech issues

Excellent service and friendly people! I brought my laptop in with a broken hinge, and the next day Joe had it repaired and looking good as new. He even went the extra mile by cleaning out years' worth of dust from the fan for no additional cost, which was not what I originally came in for, but was probably much needed and much appreciated. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone who needs computer repairs!

Would not reccomend going for more than a simple fix. I came in with a water damaged iphone and Joe said he could fix the problem for a hefty 285 dollars. Left with the problem unsolved and a choice of taking a still damaged phone for full price or a refund less 100 dollars. I am sure Joe can handle a simple screen repair, but I would not reccomend going with a complex problem.

I always leave this place in awe of how quickly my laptops are diagnosed and taken care of. They are always genuine and will never charge you for something that isn’t needed. Have never not been able to figure something out- from charger port to battery and memory issues. Totally worth the extra few minutes from campus if you’re considering it. In the past he also kept an eye out for me when I was looking for used replacement laptops. Appreciate all the energy they put in!

Very friendly service, and wanting to help. In ways I wish he was more competent and knowledgeable, but he still knows how to get the job done, even if its not to my satisfaction or desire. I would like to find someone better, but his location is somewhat convenient for me. Price was far higher than what I would've liked for the job at hand. Had I known the final price this last time, I would've just bought a new computer. Definitely recommend if you're in a pinch, but I'm sure there must be someone more knowledgeable.
