Bodrum Restaurant - Mediterranean restaurant in Venice - 225 Miami Ave W, USA

This was our first time here, and everything went perfectly well. The food was delicious, the service was wonderful, and the atmosphere was cozy. They offer indoor and outdoor seating. They have a nice wine selection as well. We both love Mediterranean food and have been to many Mediterranean restaurants, and this one is top-notch.

Overpriced and overrated Mediterranean food dressed as fine dining. I love Mediterranean food but many of the food items served are not conducive to what Mediterranean food is, in my opinion. Mediterranean food is about using fresh ingredients and letting their flavors shine through. I ordered the branzino which was smothered in sauce. It tasted okay, but the sauce hid the flavor of the fish. To me this is a sign of not knowing how to cook fish or hiding its true flavor. Perhaps the fish isn’t as fresh? - that was my first thought. This is a dish for people who don’t like fish but order it anyway. I happen to like fish and wanted to taste the complex flavors that stem from its caramelization. If you like fish and seafood probably skip this dish (catch of the day). My husband ordered the Beyti kebab which similarly it drowned in sauce, throwing off the balance of the flavors. But I suppose it’s meant to be that way. It’s sauce on sauce - you get a side of yogurt sauce too. The tea and baklava were a delicious end to a disappointing meal. Most disappointing is how we were sat at a table that is sure to make someone go blind. My husband sat facing the window by the entrance and the sun was at the point in the horizon where it just hit right and shone directly at his eye line. This was addressed in a manner of “well, the sun will set soon” rather than moving us to a different table or something. My husband was too polite to say something but if that was me, I would’ve asked to be moved. Any respectable dining establishment should offer to have customers move tables if that kind of situation arises. If they demand a high end price, they should offer a similar high end service.

My husband and I enjoyed this dining experience so very much. He ordered the swordfish and I had the halibut. Everything was absolutely delicious, fresh, and beautifully presented. This was our first visit but, we cannot wait to eat at this outstanding restaurant again.

It's a very nice place. Lisa was a great server, attentive but not hovering. Dishes vary in quality, I thought. Order the tzatziki and pita. It's excellent! (Order anything and pita. The pita's great!)

Have been here twice. Outstanding both times. Turkish restaurant. Lots on the menu for all diets. Beautiful presentation. Our server Tansel was not only helpful with the menu but attentive throughout despite the restaurant getting busy. Giving 6/5 stars!

Fantastic place! Excellent food, wine & service. Mezzo platter is delicious & Lisa’s recommended Salmon Platter was spot on. Definitely recommend

One of the best restaurants in Venice! Amazing Mediterranean food!

We really enjoyed our meal here. Would 100% recommend the sampler if you’re adventurous and want to try many things. Our entrees were amazing and the waiter was very pleasant. I can’t wait to return to try more.
