Don't recommend. The staff wasn't eo friendly, had know knowledge of the food when asked. Also the Food had no taste completely bland I could only feel the texture of the meat from the tacos, the salsa were bland as well no flavor along with the rice I might have well just been eating white rice. The Trio Chips N Salsa wasn't worth the $9 I asked for an extra side of green salsa and she gave for free but it was the same size and exact same salsa as the trio size.
If you need tacos just take a small route to

Thats where the flavors and fresh made food is 👌🏾
First time here, but we heard the hype and had to try it ourselves. The parking lot was packed and every inside table was full, so we took that as a good sign. Even though we had to eat outside, the food was great.
Just keep in mind it's very busy on taco Tuesday. Lol
We'll be back to try more items.
Always my local favorite for great, "comfort food"! I'm so glad they are near by. Is small, cozy and relaxing to stop by and grab a bite to eat. Did I mention, the food is great too!
The employees are great. But the food....meh. I purchased two Shrimp tacos...each were $5.95. There were a total of 2 shrimp in each taco. I was shocked. The flavor was ok... but definitely not at all worth the money.
Do better....
A solid Mexican eatery with more hits than misses and a hip vibe. You order cafeteria style. Indoor and outdoor seating available.
We got the chips and salsa (both red and green are excellent), the mini chimis (LOVED the cheese sauce), the horchata (yum), and the fajita burrito with carne asada (needs more flavor).
Like most cafeteria style restaurants, you will need to pay for your chips and salsa. Be aware that the food comes out really fast. Everything pretty much came out at once.

Food:
We tried carne asada nachos, carne asada chimichanga, a couple kids meals with bean and cheese and toquitos, chicken enchilada soup.
All the salsas at the salsa bar are sweet, even the hot. They do offer jalapenos, which are good and the best way to add hear if you want. The carne asada was closer to jerky than steak. It was dry and thin sliced so it literally tasted like jerkey. The pico de Gallo tasted like tomatoes and black pepper. The guacamole was ok, and fairly priced for the quantity you get. The refried beans tasted smokey, which was weird and first but it grew on me. Taquitos were mediocre at best. The cheese they use had almost no flavor. My wife enjoyed the soup. The only stand out highlight was the pumpkin spice horchata.
Service:
The staff members were almost all snarky. I overheard them cracking jokes at customers expense on more than one occasion. You can tell the manager on duty sets the dynamic as he was joking along with the younger staff.
The manager family happened to be there getting food at the time we arrived. I saw a young girl ask for and receive, what I thought was a free refill from the pumpkin horchata. We had ordered a large and medium to go and whole we were waiting for our food, I pointed it out to my wife and told her she should ask for a refill before we left. We didn't know their were special circumstances that permitted this at the time. So my wife unknowingly asked for a refill she was treated very poorly. The person she asked for the refill responded poorly and cracked a joke loud enough the kitchen laughed at her expense. The whole experience at the restaurant made me VERY uncomfortable. The only person that was pleasant was the nice young lady that took our order.
Price:
Value vs quantity was pretty good, however we really didn't really enjoy any of the food we ordered so this washes in my opinion.
Based on our terrible service experience, and the inconsistent food, we will not be returning .
I'm hoping Boca can work on the staffing issues and figure out the quality consistency issues. I know the owners are local, and there are many of us that want to support local.
Stopped in for lunch, and, unfortunately, we were underwhelmed. Taste is subjective, and maybe this just wasn't for us. I had a shrimp burrito bowl that came across as sweet and somewhat bland. The first clue to turn around and just head back out was when the front order cashier couldn't answer if there was any kind of spice added to the shrimp, and couldn't ask the chef that was about 6 feet away for some kind of confirmation. I'm not necessarily warning you to steer clear, maybe it was just an off day.
Such a fun place to enjoy lunch or dinner with friends.
We had heard from a friend about Boca Taqueria and when we saw their Heart Taco Platter we decided what a perfect way to check them out. During Valentines Day weekend we were able to enjoy 30 tacos, the Boca Trio, Margs and more and it was fantastic - highly recommend sitting at a high top table near the window.
We have since gone back to Boca a handful of times and have learned it’s always best around lunch when they first open on the weekends. It tends to not be as busy as a taco Tuesday or a Margs happy hour night.
Each time we have had the Boca Trio and love the guacamole and queso. The Tacos have all been tasty that we have tried and the kids menu is pretty perfect for any kid or picky eater. The only thing we have had that wasn’t our fav was the Chile relleno it was a little on the soggy side for our liking. The chicken enchiladas as a favorite with rice and beans.
The margaritas are tasty - I prefer the watermelon one and my husband likes the Cadillac or the pineapple one.
The pricing is also really reasonable and they have different specials throughout the week.

Quick, cheap, easy, & delicious. My personal favorite here is the Breakfast supreme Burrito. If you're looking for a tasty burrito this is the place to be, it's typically busy all day, but totally worth the short wait. These burritos are not fancy, a

I was in such terrible Phoenix-traffic frustration when I came in and not only were the employees lovely, but it was infectious as if the patrons in there playing games and waiting patiently were just as kind. Everyone was friendly and complimentary
