This is a restaurant where fine dining meets "fun-atmosphere". The menu is very eclectic and affordable. They have a very good happy hour menu as well. Once the food arrived, I was thoroughly impressed with the plating and flavors coming from the food. If you're in the Winter Park area forward a couple nights, make sure to stop in at thos restaurant before leaving. You won't regret it.

First and foremost thank you to Boca for having the yelp elite squad for this amazing event! Came here as part of the yelp elite squad and I highly recommend. :) I loved how cute and fun this event was. This location has a farm style decor inside which was lovely. Our server Jordan was amazing! Super fun and very attentive. The food and drinks were delicious. My favorite appetizers were the kipos salad, lobster wontons (wish it didn't have the sauce on the bottom) but other than that delicious. The Brussels sprouts were made perfectly, I would've definitely had round 2 if they provided them. As far as entrees, the braised short rib tacos were delicious - probably the best entree with the skirt steak! For dessert I loved the guava cheesecake - surprisingly I'm not a big cheesecake person but this one did it for me. The drinks were great- my top favorite was the pomegranate Collins. The autumn spice sangria was not bad, felt like it tasted more like juice for me. The pork chops were not as great as they looked - for my liking I wish it would've been more cooked, maybe fried. The chick peas were good. The Mexican autumn margaritas was a little on the strong side for me. The key lime tart was a no for me, not a big key lime fan. The graham cracker crust was delicious. I would definitely come back and give this restaurant a try again!

I came here to meet a girlfriend for dinner. Magical Dining is still going on for the rest of the week so we decided to do that option. I got the grilled Caesar salad, the skirt steak, and the chocolate cake. I really enjoyed the salad & the steak! The cake was alright, just a bit to orangey for me, but I’m a classic gal so ordering that was a little risk for me anyways. Our server was great! Attentive, but not over the top. Cute atmosphere inside, and larger than it looks from the front! Would recommend this place!

When I write a review, I try to be as transparent as possible. So, I have to admit that although the staff were quite friendly at Boca and the food came out relatively fast, I probably won't return to Boca for a few reasons. Unfortunately, within two minutes of being there and looking at the menu, my daughter turned her's over to discover a roach crawling along the menu! While the server and manager gave their obligatory apologies, I was quite unsettled for the duration of the visit, discreetly checking everything for bugs! The breakfast starters came out quickly, and while my husband enjoyed the cinnamon roll, I found it a bit doughy. The donut holes were pretty tasty, though. Boca has some interesting items on the menu, and my husband ordered chicken and waffles, which he seemed to enjoy. My daughter ordered BELGIAN PEARL SUGAR WAFFLES. When they arrived, they came with the whipped cream she has asked to have omitted because of a milk allergy, so she had another 10-15 minutes for more waffles. She was nearly done with her bacon and potato hash before they arrived. I ordered the shrimp n' grits. I'm from a coastal area where shrimp and grits are quite popular, so, although the dish was interesting, I wouldn't order it again. The grits were similar to fried polenta sticks, and I didn't really enjoy them. The other thing I didn't like was the fact that the server brought me another cranberry juice without asking if I wanted, so I ended up paying for a second juice that I didn't really want. Though the service was friendly and the food was interesting, I probably won't return. The roach made me uncomfortable, and once the morning continued on, the restaurant became increasingly crowded and noisy, making it difficult to have good conversation with my family.

Seven weekends of Magical Dining Month. Seven restaurants chosen for amazing menu effort. Too many restaurants phone it in for MDM and offer chicken (boring) or a cedar-plank salmon (yawn). Out of literally hundreds of restaurants, you have to stand out somehow. I ranked all the restaurants, and sought out the best of the best. Boca was hands down one of those menus that was the best of the best. Identified that, made my reservations, and showed up with some friends to chow down. Loved the atmosphere there. It's quaint, rustic, modern, Southern, like a lot of places, they had mismatched wooden boards on the wall. Cute. We got seated and met our amazing server. Forgot her name, but we were well taken care of the whole time. Refills coming all night, checked on just enough. Loved her. Now, for the food. Apps Brie & Apple Flatbread (brie, granny smith apples, pickled red onions, sweet aioli, roasted air-chilled chicken). This was a lovely little flatbread. A little soft and soggy, but constructed very well. Creamy brie, the bite of the apple, the acid from the onions, the sweetness of the aioli, and a very rare things for this kind of app, meat! A smattering of chicken which made this whole thing feel like a worth-in app to have ordered. Big fan. I also got to try the Lobster Wontons (cream cheese, scallions, citrus soy glaze dipping sauce). I will say, I didn't get a lot of lobster. I understand why, but I just wish there was more in there. That being said, they were very nice krab rangoons, very crispy, and the sauce was bright and zippy. No issues here. Mains Mojo Brined Pork Chop (shoestring potatoes, chorizo-chickpea ragout, spinach). This was a thicc-boi pork chop, and it was cooked perfectly! Honestly, my whole experienced hinged on the cook of this chop, so when I dug into this, I knew it was going to be a five star experience. I don't think there was any spinach in this, but the ragout was deep and a good pairing for this chop. Shoestrings for texture, and boom, I was very happy. I also got to try the Ginger Encrusted Salmon (brioche crumbs, creamy edamame-corn succotash). Very fascinating. Salmon was cooked nicely. I hadn't seen anything like the ginger-y brioche bread crumbs before. But it worked. Not too gingery, a little crunch was left in those crumbs, and it only enhanced the bites of salmon. What fun! Desserts Finally, my favorite dessert, the Tres Leches (vanilla rum cake, strawberries). Amazing presentation in a little tea cup. Lots of leche! This was a very well-saturated cake. But it held up, it didn't disintegrate from all the leche. Very well done. It was a little too sweet for me, but I'm sure some people will love that, too. Lovely. I also got to try the Plum & Fig Galette (thyme, vanilla bean ice cream). This was a MDM special on their menu, and you don't see many galettes around town, so this was extra special. Crispy, flakey pastry. Super thinly sliced plums, easy to cut through with your fork. And a vanilla bean ice cream, you could even see the flecks, that melts a little and fills your pastry like a bowl. So delicate and delicious. Overall, wow. I had gone from literally not knowing Boca existed to now I have to go back and try other items on their traditional menu. Thanks so much, Boca, for your unique, creative MDM menu. I am grateful, and I will be back.

Happy Hour are the best deals here with drink and food specisls. $7 meals such as pictured and drink specials starting at $5. Owner was training server. They were wonderful. Food tasted great and was prompt. Nice atmosphere as well. I went at 4pm. Not yet busy. Got busier after 5 when I left. Great neighborhood too. This is a must try for anyone wanting a quick, quality , affordable Happy hour in an upscale restaurant and neighborhood with excellent service.

Three stars - just average. Visited the museum across the street and walked past thinking the Caesar salad I saw looked good, so my mom and I had lunch here. At Boca. (In Italian, Boca means mouth.) It was okay. Food looked pretty, especially the fried green tomatoes, but not very flavorful. Mom had a flatbread pizza that was passable. I had caesar salad and it was small but tasty. The real miss was the lobster bisque. Rest assured, no lobsters were harmed in the making of this soup… also missing was sherry which normally accompanies real lobster bisque. I asked for bread to accompany my soup and salad and I got a few toasted pieces of crouton, with garlic that actually helped jazz up the soup. The music was very loud, and we were sitting outside. I asked if they could turn it down a bit, as all I could hear was the table behind us shouting to be heard over the music. No luck until a terrible downpour hit and they went inside. The staff did loan us an umbrella to return to our car. In short, go elsewhere, the food is average.

We dined at Boca this past weekend to partake in the Magical Dining menu. The ambience is welcoming overall. We sat in the back area which was somewhat loud, however our hostess did give us a heads up on that and offered in advance to move us if it was too much. We didn’t move and it wasn’t that bad. Parker was our server. He was very attentive and explained how magical dining worked and made himself available throughout the meal. We purposely chose different options for our meal so we could share and sample a little bit of everything. We ordered the Brie and Apple Flatbread and grilled Caesar. Both were good. Nothing spectacular about the grilled Caesar, and likely wouldn’t order it again but it wasn’t bad. Just didn’t stand out in any way. For our main course we ordered the braised short rib and the ginger encrusted Salmon. Of those two, the salmon was by far the most flavorful. Both were delicious. Desert was Tres Leches and the Plum and Fig Galette. Our favorite of those two was the Galette. It was very flavorful and visually elegant. Our mission is to find new and unique venues to please our palates and to return to those that do. I am continually forgetting to get pictures so forgive the half eaten portions. This is something I will work on for myself. Haha We will be back. 😁
