Bobby's Lakeside Restaurant - Diner in Antioch - 410 Lake St, USA

Went for first time today with friend. Had best burger I've had in a long time. Very friendly atmosphere, awesome food. Great cook, great waiter. Burger was so good I ordered another one to take home for later. Will definitely be coming back here very soon.

Went on a Friday night so maybe this experience was an exception, but our waitress was very rude and unfriendly from the get go. I ordered a deluxe sandwich, which comes with soup and fries. She didn't even bother telling me they were out of soup when I ordered it. She didn't ask what kind I wanted either, but I assumed they only had one kind and that's why she didn't ask, so I didn't think too much into it. My boyfriend and I were the only ones in the restaurant too, so it's not like they ran out after taking my order. She only told me they were out after I inquired about it when my actual food came. I said, "but am I still paying for the deluxe?" She rudely says as she's walking away, "I'll change it, but we are out of soup!!" As if she was annoyed and frustrated with me for asking. On top of it, fries came out very burnt and were hardly edible and this is coming from somebody who usually asks for their fries well done, only ironically enough, this time I didn't. I will say, the older gentleman who was there as well, perhaps the owner (?), was very nice. That the only reason why I gave it a second star...He just needs to get better staff!!

Great breakfast place in a cute downtown area. Definitely good to walk around afterward and there are lots of parking options. The food was really tasty and had super generous portions. Service was attentive and everything was just well made with good flavors. The biscuits and sausage gravy was my favorite. I had a bite of my friends pancakes and really enjoyed it. If you're looking for breakfast I don't think you can go wrong with this place.

A special gem in this town, I enjoyed the food very delicious. I got a burger and pepsi! This place had a pepsi and coke! Very great service and the price was amazing! Truly loved it here! Amazing service. I will be honest the wait was long but the food was authentic they took their time crafting the meal!

Bobby's is one of the best reasons to live in Antioch! A classic locals diner/restaurant where the kind and funny owner, Bobby, is the cook/host/server. It's not unusual to have your coffee refilled by a regular who hopped behind the counter and grabbed a fresh pot of coffee to offer refills. This place exudes ritual and community. You get the sense you stepped back in time a few decades. Places like this are the best part of small towns.

Nice place for a simple breakfast, great friendly service. The atmosphere was more relaxed and quieter than other places in town.

Haven't had a juicy patty melt like that in a while and I been in a touch over ten years First time coming here and won't be the last and Homemade cut potatoes can't wait to try the breakfast

Easily the most bang for your buck or any diner around. Very warm atmosphere and very good brekky selections
