We got the Japanese ceremonial matcha straight with grass jelly and no sugar. It was pretty good for not being sweetened. Wasn’t too bitter. I would definitely come back to try other drinks. The only cons to this place are that the menu is a bit overwhelming and there is no seating. It is a cute atmosphere though and the service was good. The person at the register was very patient with all of our questions.

Bobae has by far the best quality milk tea and boba I’ve ever had. It is evident that they actually prioritize making excellent drinks and food. Really, all of their drinks and pastries are absolutely delicious. The staff is so friendly and helpful. Bobae is where I go for a pick me up, rain or shine! HIGHLY recommend!

So good I went back for a second drink! Their seasonal Rising Phoenix was indeed how a pumpkin spice latte should taste. Every sip was like a bite of pumpkin pie. Truly delicious. The bubble tea was yummy. The Nitro Bae milk tea standard sweetness with boba was my first drink, then I wanted my own Rising Phoenix after tasting my boyfriends. Very delicious!

I love Bobae! I’ve been coming here ever since their opening in Woodinville and now Kirkland. Drinks have always been consistent and delicious with the best customer service and atmosphere which is so important!! My favorite to order is a Strawberry Lemonade + Boba. KP was so friendly to talk to today! :) Never stop serving quality ❤️❤️❤️ tysm

Got this Boba 🧋 via delivery with some of the gluten free pastries. Drinks were delicious and the mochi pastries were so balanced and light. What really sent me was the presentation. Typically restaurants will just throw everything in a bag, but they added a hand-written touch that made me feel like it was made by a friend. Really nice experience, excited to visit the store IRL

This place is so cute! The inside is super aesthetic and the drinks are delicious. Alisa is really awesome and helped me to find the perfect drink for me. Definitely come check them out!!!

I'm happy Bobae opened a location here! This is smaller than their Woodinville location with no seating, but it is very cute and effective and blends in with the high foot traffic style of the downtown Kirkland area. It is within walking distance to the Waterfront- a perfect place to enjoy the treats on a nice day. To save on wait time in line and for your order to be prepared, you can order ahead online and it can be ready when you arrive. My favorite drinks are the Bobaejicha and Red White Matcha, as well as their seasonal specialty matcha drinks such as with ube, red bean, blueberry, and mango. They pride themselves on quality, non-artificial ingredients. The price point is higher than the norm. However, the desserts and pastries are not my taste. I've found the macarons to be overly sweet to a point that the intended flavor is overpowered. The matcha cookie and tart were lacking in matcha taste. I also believe in the integrity of business owners and have found the shaming and self-victimizing tone of their responses to customers' less-than-perfect feedback (that you can see for yourself) extremely off-putting and contradictory to their stated values.

As far as I can tell Bobae is unique in that they create all their own syrups and flavorings, and they are very creative by inventing new flavors and branching into new areas like their donuts and macarons. In a world where boba tea places are popping up left & right it's become harder to differentiate and stand out. Bobae has done this in a very saturated market and one cannot ignore their achievement. The founders are also very engaging in their Instagram posts and are clearly passionate about their product and sharing with their followers. I am a fan and will look forward to watching their continued growth.
