Bob Timberlake Inn - Bed & breakfast in Blowing Rock - 185 Chetola Lake Dr, USA

Charming grounds. Room 6 at the Lodge was large but not. Low grade linens, worn out carpet. The included breakfast each day was indeed breakfast but cold and tasteless. Getting your luggage to the room is a challenge without help nor direction on a clear cut method to get them from the lot to the room. The 5pm wine and cheese was pleasant, as was the 24 hour pantry complete with beverages and ice cream. Nice indoor pool area. The restaurant menu was limited and was lacking as it was short staffed. We were told that the Chef had left them without notice taking the staff with him. We're told that they will be doing a remodel. If they fix their staffing, breakfast, linens, and add bell staff we would likely revisit.

Loved the dinner and breakfast! Quality food and great portions. Solid wine list as well.

Great meal at the Chetola restaurant. Service was excellent also. I had the pork special. Very tender and tasty.
