Bob Evans - Family restaurant in Big Rapids - 840 Perry Ave, USA

Bob Evans is a good place for a for breakfast with good food and friends or family or both. The staff are very courteous and friendly and don’t mind a touch of humor, which, in my opinion, makes for a great time by all. I, 10/10, would recommend Bob Evans for your next brunch with the family!

To start, our waitress Jean was awesome! It felt like we were at families for breakfast. She was super sweet and the food was delicious! Those cinabytes were fire, and the skillet was awesome. Just what we needed for a morning brunch! I highly recommend this place.

Wow is this place horrible. Wasn't greeted by any of the 3 employees standing at the counter. Hostess never said a word, just lead us to a table, threw the menus down and kept walking without saying anything. Waitress took forever to come take our order. A male server there was walking around with his underwear covered butt hanging out and looked like he hadn't showered in several weeks. Floors and walls were dirty and stained. Had plenty of time to look around since our food wasn't arriving and the place was NOT busy and had like 10 employees doing nothing. After over an hour since ordering, we ended up just leaving so can't rate the food as we never received it but I'm sure it wasn't going to be good since everything else about this place was just down right awful already. I mean all your food is basically deep fried and/or microwaved so why was it taking so long?? Drove over to the A&W and they had our hot, delicious food out to us in under 5 minutes from ordering. The staff there were super friendly and cheery too! Will never go back to Bob Evans.

We were looking forward to a decent breakfast. I didn't expect my hash browns to be completely covered in black pepper. And my husband's sausage was way over cooked he couldn't even cut it. We have eaten at several Bob Evans but will not be stopping at this one again.

Or food was delicious! The drink was off the hook! Our waiter was on top of everything. He was very polite and courteous, so I gave a generous tip!! Great place and clean. The restrooms were clean and shocked!! Enjoy

Bob Evans, I would guess is an either loved place or hated place by those who visit. It has a small-town diner feel, and that’s either appreciated or not. My wife and I really enjoy going to Bob Evans, especially for late breakfast/early lunch, but not brunch, because you can get breakfast, lunch, OR even dinner at any time of the day!! This last time my wife and I went, she ordered breakfast (and it was 11am) and I order a honey biscuit chicken breast meal (dinner) at the same time - pretty legit if you ask me. The prices are rather reasonable; they do hit you on drinks, but so do most places these days. The tables are clean, the service is usually quite fast, unless they’re absolutely slammed. And if they’re slammed, the waiting-to-be-seated will be the longest part of any part of the service process from stepping into the door to leaving after you’ve paid your bill.

The food tasted good unfortunately we had to wait about an hour for our food. We arrived about 615 pm There were only 3 other couples in the restaurant. Only had 3 employees working. Not good on bob evans part. The waiter said he was usually by him self. And this was on a Saturday night prime dinner time when we arrive. did not get our order put in until 700pm got food at 735. I opted out of fast food for something healthier but we also had to be some place at 8 so we had to eat fast.

If you get waitress named Hailey I promise you you’ll have bad service. I ordered biscuits with sausage and gravy and it was cold, my girlfriend is 8 months pregnant and ever her food was beyond cold. I would give her a 0/10 if I could. The service was not worth the $29 I spent
