My food was so bad all the way around I didn't even take a picture; I was that upset. My eggs were cooked overhard when they were supposed to be over easy and the cook even admitted she cooked my onions in the microwave for my home fries which is against Bob Evans cooking standards and practices. The real stars here, were our server and the manager on duty. They had my food remade perfectly. They were so nice and professional. They really saved the day and are the only reason we will return. Thank you for your hospitality and professionalism. You made my day.
Every time I go in here I am greeted by the friendliest smiles and it always brightens up my day. The servers and managers here are the among the best you'll find anywhere in the Rehoboth Beach, Lewes area. I always look forward to my visites there. And the food always tastes better when you're happy. The biscuits and sausage gravy taste awesome, like I make at home.
My wife and I had breakfast there this morning. We were seated within seconds of stepping in. The menu was huge, but I was set on having an omelet. We placed our order and we were served within a few minutes. No long wait. Our food was delicious. It looked good and tasted even better. I added rock salt to my omelet because I enjoy the kick of salt. As they had rock salt here, the texture of my breakfast was even better. My wife actually finished her meal. She rarely does that when we eat out. Our server was polite, funny and prompt. He had a sense of humor. The ambiance was friendly and politely quiet. Every diner seemed to be enjoying themselves. The cost of our breakfast was reasonable. That made things even better. We will be back.
After a long day of moving my younger brother from one place to another, my other brother and I decided to try Bob Evans. We had an exceptional waitress named Ashley. My brother got the ham steak dinners with mashed potatoes and green beans. I had the chopped steak with fried onions and mushrooms and also broccoli with cheese and mashed potatoes with gravy. The food was great but it was Ashley that made a great impression on us. She was there when we needed her. I had a side salad and I wasn’t sure what dressing I wanted and she had suggested a poppyseed Italian dressing. So good…. We really like how she came across. She was professional, courteous and had a smile on her face. My brother was also excited about how she was with us. My brother is an ex marine and is very hard to make him that excited about our service. He treated me dinner that night and gave an enormous tip to Ashley. Our bill came to $25 and his tip was $20. He went ahead to pay the bill while I was waiting for Ashley to come back to give her the tip. I had informed her that she did an astonishing job and normally by brother gives a 20% tip when we get together. But she was outstanding, her smile on her was priceless and informed me that it was her second week working there. 5 star all the way……. Thank you Ashley!!!!
We ate here while on vacation and the food was good. The service was poor and the waitress needed an attitude adjustment.
We waited for five minutes and our presence was not acknowledged. The waitress was highly condescending when we sought to inquire if there was anyone who could serve us. Due to this unprecedented level of poor seevice, we found a better place to have breakfast.
Been to this location twice now. Both times the service was slow and inexperienced. The table was dirty and then wiped down with an extremely wet rag and never dried. The service made mistakes in our order, took longer than average to arrive, and the food was just mediocre. I will honestly try my best not to visit there again.
We don't go there often because they're normally closed when we get but any other time their foods been great.
Live this place. So much energy! Volunteers show you around and transport you back two hundred+ years. There's a school house, a doctor's office and many other buildings representing life from the 1800s. First Friday of the month is always happy hour
Loved it here! Very laid back. Pretty much had the beach to myself. The beach was clean. You can get a pass for all day and you can drive into Rehoboth to get food, souvenirs, etc. just show them your beach pass when you drive back.
First want to say shout out to ZACH! He is the nicest most professional guy and made our stay even better. Waking up and going down to breakfast to someone greeting you and happy to help you made the stay even better. There was also a older gentleman
This spectacular boat (w/tours) sits in a park with a playground, tennis courts & BB court. A beautiful way to spend a few hours & follow the signs that tell the story of our mighty ship ð¢. All a Block from the center of town.
Amazing place to visit fire a real look at history here back during WW2. They have a 16" gun from the Mighty Mo there. My grandpa served on that ship during the Japanese surrender. To think he once looked at the very same gun when he was a kid in the
The loveliest low key cafe with truly excellent food. Get the Mediterranean platter and soup of the day! Kids menu is perfection - grilled cheese melted and pressed to gooey goodness, thickly sliced bread with drippy jam PB&J. Compliments do the kitc
Waterfront park with tennis courts, basketball, playground, green space, rain garden, board games, gazebo, fishing from the pier, etc. The Overfalls, a Light Ship Boat is docked there too. The tour of the boat is fun. This is a wonderful green space
