Bob Evans - Family restaurant in Harrison - 618 Ring Rd, USA

The honey chicken dinner with corn and mashed potatoes is absolutely delicious. The chicken is so tender you can cut it with your fork. The liberty bell breaded chicken dinner was just as good minus the delicious honey. We were really surprised just how tender the chicken was. For appetizers, we ordered cowboy fries. These fries were amazing, who'd ever think sausage gravy, cheese, and fries go together. Our waitress was great, and even though it was almost closing time, she still had a good attitude and kept checking on us. Overall, it was a great dinner, and I was delicious.

Our server was very good. Took care of us and very kind. Pecans in my salad had a yummy glaze to them. I had plenty of cranberries and pecans. My husband's chicken looked so good. I will order it next time.

I used to love to stop at Bob Evans when I was on a road trip.. But, not so much anymore. My wife had her usual 'Deep Dish' chicken and noodles with yeast rolls on the side (instead of biscuits as part of the deep dish entrée). She found only one small cube of chicken. The yeast rolls were rock hard and couldn't be eaten. I had fried eggs, bacon, biscuits and gravy and home fries. The home fries, in my humble opinion, were terrible. They tasted like they were left over from breakfast and I was there around 7pm. The same with the biscuits and gravy. The eggs and bacon were good. Service was great. I think I will remove Bob Evans from my go-to list of restaurants for when I am on a road trip. It's kind of sad.

Ordered ahead. Pot roast for the family. Pot roast has no gravy and they mixed in raw onions which were diced. Got 1/2 of a container of green beans and a full container of potatoes. Very small amount of gravy for the potatoes. Called the manager when I opened it at home and told her my concern.

Be aware that if you plan to doordash from this restaurant that it may be given less than adequate priority. I've had multiple orders to where the dasher has had to sit there for 15 to almost 30 minutes. One dasher said the food sat there for 15 minutes before bagged. Please be aware of this issue before ordering.

As usual, the Bob Evans in Harrison Ohio didn't have my order ready. I ordered online (on a Sunday but they were only average busy not super busy) at 10:30 thinking they might have it ready by 11:30. Arrived promptly at 11:35. If you don't oder online, you can't do curbside pickup. Called the number on the sign and was on hold for about 12 minutes (all the while hearing about how great their curbside pickup is). I finally gave up and went inside. They said they were sorry their phones must be disconnected because it hasn't rung in over an hour. Asked several times if it was ABOUT done. They assured me that it was about done. Finally got my food at 12:01. I'd give 0 stars and stop coming if their food wasn't SOOOOO great! If you want carry out, don't get it at the Harrison location. They never have it ready when promised l.

I got one of the Blue plate special for dinner traveling. I got the chopped steak and gravy broccoli and mash potatoes. I can't believe people eat these instant mash potatoes, even the gravy could cover the taste. These servers don't ever know when you ask ahead of time... Other than powder taters meal was decent for what it was. Not home cooking for sure. Lol.

Everything was extremely good. The atmosphere was amazing and so was the food and our waitress. We had been traveling so we were tired and probably looked tired. So our waitress made our day.
