We were very disappointed with our visit. We love Bob Evans mashed potatoes and had take out from one in Florida that was good. We had been looking forward to going when we noticed one in the area. We both had the honey chicken breast on biscuits. The potatoes were cool and the chicken tasted like it had been reheated. Our waitress took forever when we requested a refill, butter and honey. She went and waited on 3 other tables taking their orders before even getting what we requested. She brought back a refill of drink that wasn’t even a full drink and failed to bring honey at all. We eventually just took one off another table. I think in the future we will stick to the potatoes we can buy at the grocery store.
Have you ever had a place that was like your home away from home? The Bob Evans in Morgantown is mine. I have driven out to Ohio for Thanksgiving more years than I can count (actually probably about 20) and on each of trips we've stopped at this very Bob Evans because it represents that halfway point in the drive. Through all the years and seasons, this place has remained virtually the same. I'm pretty sure the staff hasn't even transitioned at all in my time coming to this establishment - which should tell you something about it. Situated on the top of a hill overlooking the luscious valleys of West Virginia, this Bob Evans is as picturesque and scenic as it is convenient. It would also provide a really strategic advantage in any sort of military conflict, which I'm sure the owners had in mind when they built the place. On a clear day, you can even see the top of the West Virginia University football stadium peeking out from over a hill on the left. Some say on game days, you can hear the tears and wails of the fans all the way from the restaurant. To get into the establishment, you need to walk across an old, white porch. A porch just like your grandparents used to have outside of their home. A porch with rocking chairs and splinters. A porch with chipped paint and memories. A porch that leads you home. On crossing the threshold, you step into the famous Bob Evans shop. You're surrounded by all sorts of delightful knickknacks and trinkets and you realize this is probably the exact place your grandparents got most of the gifts they gave you growing up. What seemed like trash to you as a child now looks a little more sweet and enticing. There may be a wait to sit and eat, depending on the time that you go. But that's to be expected. This Bob Evans is a local haunt and during peak hours, they are sure to be found inside the familiar walls of this establishment. Once you do get a seat, you'll be greeted with a familiar menu with all the classics that you've come to know and love: the Farmer's Choice, the BIG Egg, the hotcake platter and more. You may also see pages about hamburgers and sandwiches which may seem enticing. But let me encourage you to stick to the familiar roads, my friends. Stick to familiar roads; it's what Bob would have wanted. As you eat, you'll begin to feel the pangs of heartburn and indigestion flaring up deep inside you. That will all come later, but for now, enjoy more coffee and crispy bacon. There are no troubles in Bob Evans. You'll get the bill and you'll be surprised at how much a few eggs and pancakes cost you. But you'll look up at the massive mural of Bob Evans on the wall, see his smiling face and surprisingly trendy glasses and realize that you should have paid double for the experience and the memories that this establishment gave you. You'll then sit at the table for a little bit once you wrap your mind around the bill; digesting and enjoying, until you realize that you actually need to go pay at the counter at the front. As you walk back out to your car, content, happy, satisfied, you'll potentially see someone taking alternating draws from a cigarette and crack pipe and you'll remember the famous words written on the wall of the restaurant and, now, upon to the very fibers of your heart: "Everyone's a somebody at Bob Evans" and you'll smile and nod at the crack head. He'll nod back; you're family now. You'll get in your car and drive away, poorer financially and with a few less years of life to live, but oh, so much richer.
There late had probably end of day chicken noodle soup...got a big bowl of floured noodles..no broth..tasted like a bowl of dumplings with pieces of chicken in it. Never again will I order their soup. Nothing soupy about it.
Visited this one a few times. The decor of this Bob Evans gives it a more homey feel out of the ones in the area (yes we visited all of them). Food wise everything was great like we are used to and came out fast. Service was also great, saw a few people there multiple times always had a smile and were happy to help. It has abig gift shop, usually they just have a few items up front but this one has a full on store with lots of really cool gifts.
This was absolutely the worst restaurant I have EVER been to. I’m from Florida, so I wanted to go somewhere that we don’t have here. There was only one other table and the order still took almost an hour. Here’s a couple pictures of their Surf and Turf and cold steak with carrots. There were 7 of us. We didn’t eat, we didn’t pay and we left. My son got chicken tenders and it came with two burnt, shriveled up pieces of chicken. In my life, I’ve never seen anything like it. Burger King burgers are thicker than the steak was. I’m just lost for words. Honestly, and I never leave reviews.
Food was "ok", wood floors look like last night was a bar night. They are dirty looking, toilet paer in bathroom on floor racked tiles cracked sinks. If you have balance issues floors are uneven ,sloppy in many directions.we were told 10 min wait, dining room was 25% full, i assume staffing issues. The only bright spot of day was our waitress she was great and got tipped accordingly. We had a gift card. I used to love this resturant..now it was my last time. I suggest get a engineer to check the building before it falls through the ground
We were sick this year and couldnt cook. So I bought the thanksgiving platter. I ordered the same day and they still had it available on time. The amount of food received for the price was a very good value.
Service was good. Due to unusual circumstances we ended up making 5 special requests and the waiters / waitresses graciously helped us with each one.
It was very nicely decorated inside. Spacious and perfect for catching up with friends or studying. Iâm a big fan of Yemeni coffee/tea shops. The Adeni tea is my favorite - which is a tea with cardamom & other spices. I also enjoyed the Kanafeh che

I've been wanting to visit Yama for months now, and finally got the opportunity to go for dinner on Wednesday. Though their hours are limited, it was well worth the visit. Casual and cozy interior, we ordered our meal at the counter - spicy tuna roll
Dan goes out of his way to make the best pizza possible.Prices are reasonable, and so far outside of NY or Jersey, the best crust I've ever had.Perhaps he's on par with them too.Tired of 14 inch pizzas costing 20 dollars elsewhere.I'll make my own if n
Donât ever plan to take your shoes off and come here. I tried for therapy on my soul, but I ended up just hurting my feet because thereâs too many freaking rocks, but the place is amazing and I love the place where thereâs like a bridge and you
Thank you so much for walking me through the process to get furniture at your store. Your employees were so helpful loading up my purchase for transport. I am a single mother and while a lot of things have improved for me and my child since we moved
I'm so happy we decided to give this place a shot. We ordered a Sicilian pizza. It was HUGE and one of the best Sicilians I ever had! They have terrific prices as well and they had our order prepared in 10 minutes! Best of all, they are 5 minutes awa
This may be, hands down, the best dive bar I've ever been to. It was my dad's favorite when he was in school there in the 60s and now I know why. The bartenders were GREAT! The owner, Al, couldn't have been any more friendly. All the locals were welc
