They did a very good job with this hotel. The rooms are updated and comfortable. Free parking on premises. Close to all the attractions. And best of all, they are dog friendly, which helps us out a lot. The people working in the office are very friendly and accommodating. I would absolutely stay here again and plan to.
The Boarding House is amazing! I was there mid-September with my dog, Roscoe, for a mental health break and to focus my attention on a meaningful project. Everything was fresh, clean and accommodating and everyone was incredibly kind, from the moment l first called to book, through and after check-out.
If l could give more stars, l would!
Location is great, walking distance from Washington Square Mall, dog park across the street, and a place to wash your dog off after a beach jaunt ☺️

My husband and I found the room to be spotless and comfortable. We enjoyed the locally crafted amenities and looked forward to enjoying wonderful conversations with other guests hosted by the friendly and knowledgeable Chet. Our dog enjoyed her stay too! Highly recommend this welcoming place and its great location!
When it comes to finding the perfect pet-friendly getaway, The Boarding House in Cape May checks all the boxes. The staff was friendly, and our room was tastefully decorated, impeccably clean, and comfortable. The Boarding House is within walking distance of the town's historic district, boutiques, and restaurants. We enjoyed strolls with our dog along the picturesque streets and found several pet-friendly restaurants. We can't wait to return next year!

My family and our pet stayed for 2 nights, nothing but perfect. Great location, clean bedroom, friendly staff and easy check-in process, what else can you ask for?

Overall, this is an amazing place to stay when you have dogs traveling with you. Writing a heart of downtown Cape May, not too far for walk from anything. It is very clean, spacious, and very accommodating. Absolutely loved staying here, will be staying here much more in the future
Had a great stay! Rooms were clean , spacious and the best part was it was dog friendly which was super important. The hotel is walking distance to great shopping and eating. i would definitely stay here again.
Almost didn’t want to leave a review so that this place doesn’t get so popular that I can’t come back. Great location walking distance to downtown, very friendly staff with awesome perks like complimentary happy hour featuring local brewery/winery and modern rooms with very comfortable beds. Will definitely be back.

Stopped by to get coffe with the crew on a Saturday morning, place was busy but we got our drinks fast. They have some good food options too, although I didn't try them. Will be stopping by next time I'm in town for sureð¤ð½
Great outdoor shopping mall. Too bad no one reads the signs stating dogs are not allowed. So just watch out for calling cards from them. Otherwise it is a fun place to walk around and shop, get food or dessert. Did I mention dessert?

Beautiful lighthouse by the beach. Plenty more of free parking. We arrived after it closed so could not go to the top. The nearby beach is a good place to hang out. Take your time and enjoy the area.
