We as a family have stayed at this hotel many times in the past few years....
We visit relatives in Shawno a couple times a year...
On our last stay they were under a much needed renovation ...
Much nicer now...
New curtains wallpaper ,furniture..
Our suite didn't have a chair or couch in it yet.. but beds very comfy... but that's ok.. probably just not done yet with reno...
We cut our trip short because they wanted to charge us $329.00 plus tax for Saturday Night a September 3rd, instead of their normal $159.00 plus tax because supposedly their was a packers game 38 miles away? Is that normal?
Overall nice hotel to stay at...
My family and I came Friday thru Monday. Extremely clean hotel. No bugs, no smelly rooms, everything clean. Very quiet and friendly staff. I highly recommend this hotel. Breakfast was a five star too. Great selection, clean and fully stocked. Pool was big with a heated area so you wouldnt get cold. Plenty of towels too. Nice parking lot and if you want to walk the river is close bywe will definitely be back. Oh and coffee was a 10
Jolene and Jenny at the front desk recognize us and take great care of us. I like that there is always hot water and coffee any time of the day. You can get the sun through your windows after a hard day at work. Restaurants "Shawano Cafe", "Litehouse", and others are close and make it easy to relax after work. The morning breakfast has something for everyone and is always nice and hot.
Nice little find in the small town of Shawano. Visiting my grandmother from DC where standards are pretty cutthroat and competitive. I have to say it was a nice stay. Very friendly staff, convenient location, nice continental breakfast, huge pool area and very comfortable beds. I would recommend this stay.
Everything was kept very clean we had an excellent breakfast served Saturday and Sunday morning. We took advantage of the wonderful walking/ bike trails that you can take from the hotel that take you to different parks in the area. We would definitely stay at this hotel again sometime.
Very clean, pleasant and quiet. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was good. No hot tub by the pool. Visited Shawano for a funeral. Would stay there again, but hopefully not for the same reason. May look at Cobblestone hotels for future travel.
The chair in the King suite was very dirty and should be replaced. Also the pull out couch was not comfortable and very old, the Ladies at the counter were very pleasant and helpful!! Also I received great help over the phone before our visit, I believe her name was Kayla :)|
Convenient traveler or nearby vacationer off-highway access. Close to city of Shawano and surrounding area activities. Comfortable accommodations and a nice continental breakfast.
It's 3 1/2 star rating is appropriate for my overall experience of my Friday night stay.

We've nothing but positive experience serving campers at Pine Grove. The owners and staff have been great to work with as well as they understand the need and essential work we provide in helping to keep sites clean.
