This is my second stay at the Bmore Bunks hostel, and once again, it exceeded all my expectations. My previous visit was about a year and a half ago while waiting for a flight out of BWI, and I am delighted to report that the experience remains just as pleasant. As many reviews have already highlighted, Hugh is simply exceptional. His dedication and energy in ensuring that guests feel welcome and well-taken care of is truly heart-warming. He goes above and beyond to maintain a high standard of cleanliness and to keep the hostel well-stocked with essentials. The environment at Bmore Bunks is both clean and cozy. Towels are washed daily, linens are definitely washed between guests, and the floors are cleaned meticulously every day. During my recent stay, there was a minor hiccup with a water leak from upstairs. However, Hugh handled it swiftly and efficiently, containing the issue until a plumber arrived, ensuring there was no disruption to the guests. Bmore Bunks is not only affordable but also conveniently located close to Penn Station and public transportation, making it easy to explore the city. Safety is clearly a priority here, as the atmosphere feels secure and welcoming. In summary, if you're looking for a clean, cozy, and affordable place to stay, with exceptional service and a great location, Bmore Bunks is the perfect choice. As has been exhaustively documented here, Hugh is a champion host and knowledgeable local resource! He was very personable, went out of his way to be available, and did his best to ensure that I was informed and safe during my time in Baltimore. The space was clean and well looked after, in an ideal location next to Penn station. Thank-hugh!

I had cash, and it was raining outside, so I knocked on the door, hoping someone was there. Unfortunately, the manager was out. However, a guest returned to the building and promptly assisted me in securing the room online by contacting the manager over the phone. The process was quiet and straightforward, and I slept peacefully through the night. The A/C was amazing.

Hugh was so kind and helpful. We needed a place to store our luggage and he offered the hostel to us as a safe storage for free. He even told us to relax inside as long as we needed. If he is this kind to complete strangers, I cannot imagine how amazing he must be with paying guests!

this place was lovely. as someone who’s not freshly new to the city , I loved where it was located: a block over from Charles St Station North. There was even a free Improv class there that I was able to attend. So fun! The beds were surprisingly comfy. And the bathroom was the cleanest I’ve seen in a hostel. Thanks so much for everything!

Great stay at this hostel! 24F traveling alone, felt safe and secure. Was super available late at night, the host was awesome to chat with. Very clean and equipped. Would recommend!

Great location, just 4 mins walk from Penn station. Hugh is super kind and helpful, he knows a lot about planning trips in the US, very professional. As a solo traveler, I feel safe in the hostel.

This is a solid hostel. Hugh’s kindness reminded me of southern hospitality. He goes to great lengths to ensure each guest has his questions answered and concerns alleviated. Hospitable Hugh is the soul of this place. Unlike other hostels one might encounter in other countries that fail to have running water and don’t meet any standard of living that’s acceptable for the preservation of mankind, this place is exceptional. I’d recommend this spot to any one who wants to watch Joe Flacco throw a football or is simply interested in trying out a hostel for the first time.
