Bluff View Inn - Bed & breakfast in Chattanooga - 411 E 2nd St, USA

My wife and I stayed her for our 7 year anniversary. Staff was super knowledgeable about the history of the property which was awesome to learn! The room was very clean and super authentic! We loved it! The entire property was great to explore. We will definitely be back!

I pretty much exclusively stay at B&Bs and historic inns. Bluff View Inn easily makes my top three stays ever. The accomodations were lovely. I stayed at the Martin House in the Anna Houston room. It was a large, corner room with lots of windows and natural light. The bathroom was roomy, clean, and had lots of hot water. The gas fireplace was the absolute best on chilly nights. Fresh ice, water, and sodas were always available. The parking lot was incredibly convenient located right outside the house. Breakfast vouchers were provided for a cafe/bakery right around the corner. The food and drinks were great, but be prepared to wait in long lines.

This is our favorite getaway spot. In addition to a lovely place to stay, there is great food, the art scene, bicycles to rent on the Riverwalk, and the fabulous downtown Chattanooga. We have gone in all 4 seasons, and we have always felt well taken care of.

If you're looking for a true B&B experience, This is not the place to go. This is more like a rent a room with free breakfast. We B&B quite often, we do perfer more boutique types, saying that we expect a few things at a good B&B. One of the reasons we stay at a b&b is the meeting of people at a prepared unique breakfast by a representing employee or owner of the property and exchange sight seeing experiences. At this place we were handed a breakfast take out menu with 3 different choices for their property owned Cafe. Not a sit down Cafe, but a takeout cafe. Although some good points: This location was the BEST. & the employees at check in were great.. We had a suite, full efficiency, paid extra for the room size. Room nice but we were told once arrive, can't use oven or stove, though it shows on line it was Available. It didn't affect us as much, but it may effect Others that were planning on using it to prepare meals. Don't advertise if you don't have it. Rooms clean, daily room pickup & towels. Improvements could be; real liquid cream for coffee NOT dried package cream, who serves that anymore ? Make sure u bring ur own hair conditioner, u only get the 2 in 1 here, and women we know that does not work. All in all It was like renting a room, not a b&b.

Great find in the heart of the city overlooking the Tennessee River. Three restored, historic homes makeup the Bluff View Inn. Within walking distance to the Walnut Steet pedestrian bridge, aquarium, museum. Tony's restaurant and Rembrandt's coffee house are also in the district.

This was my first bed-and-breakfast experience, and I really enjoyed it! I didn’t even realize that the inn was just one part of the larger property, which is all very cool with beautiful architecture and vibes. Our inn keeper, Georgia, it was very sweet and accommodating. Our room was large, and the bed was very comfortable and we slept great! My wife wasn’t super keen on the old house feel, though I loved it, but by the end of our stay, she commented on how the place had really grown on her! It’s really fun to walk over to their coffee shop, Rembrandts, to get free coffee all day, and a really delicious breakfast as a part of our stay. I would definitely come back and stay again!

This a great place to stay in B& style. It is located walking distance tothe downtown area and the waterfront. I have stayed there int he past and was delighted to see that they survived the covid pandemic. This B&B has several homes on the site in the Art District which are adjacent to each other. I have stayed n two of them and they were very comfortable. The staff couldn't be better.

My husband and I stayed here last year for our anniversary, and we had such a good time that we booked the same room to stay in this year. Service is wonderful, and the rooms are great. If you stay here, you’re in the perfect location to walk to all the best stops in Chatt. We didn’t drive the entire time we stayed because we were close to everything we wanted to see.
