The food is always delicious, the atmosphere is average. They do offer private dining areas for larger parties/events. Check out their Sunday 3 Course Dinner Menu, Happy Hour Half Price Appetizers & Wine by the glass (M-Fr 3-6p), and Tues half priced bottled wine.
My Bestie and I had a phenomenal time at Bluestone. I arrived a tad earlier than my friend, and they allowed me to sit and order to my liking. I appreciated that as I was starving and ready to chow. I ordered muscles, a single crab cake with roasted potatoes and a vegetable medley. It was all cooked perfectly and absolutely delicious. My bestie ordered the stuffed flounder with rice and vegetables, and she said her meal was phenomenal. She ordered an alcoholic beverage that wasn't on the menu. However, she insisted that the bar tender was not stingy with the liquor. She said it was good and strong. We both got desserts. The apple crisp and pumpkin spice cheesecake. They threw in an ice cream cup with a candle since we were celebrating her birthday. Dinner was spectacular. The service was top tier. We had Josh! He made sure to check on us the entire time and was very accommodating. The food came out fast. The ambiance was perfect. The bathrooms were spotless. The hostess was super kind and welcoming. The prices were great. The portions were spot on. Not too much, and not too little. My belly was full, and my plate was empty. I had no leftovers. Overall, I'd totally dine with Bluestone again! Highly recommend!
Beautiful cozy place. I have been here years ago, the food was amazing. I went back thinking about crab balls that are no longer on the menu. Food: I tasted the seafood pasta and sent it back. Actually, the waitress noticed my distaste immediately. She gets extra points for paying attention to moods. Two types of steak only. So I chose the filet. It wasn't juicy, had no flavor. We all know good steak doesn't need sauce. So I ended up asking for some, took a few bites and just asked for a to-go plate to give the rest to my other half. I knew I wasn't going to eat it. $62 steak is Baltimore Harbor prices with no taste. Eeek. There's not much competition in Timonium, so they get away with high prices and bland food. The neighborhood loves this place though. Always packed. Did I say the place was decorated nicely?
Wonderful local restaurant. Outstanding food, atmosphere and service. Highly recommend the Crisfield Stew! Reasonable prices to boot 🙂
It’s a good local restaurant loved by neighborhoods. I would not say the quality of the dishes is like high-end level, but it’s still good. The mood and service are very satisfactory, and I know many neighbors love this restaurant.
We enjoyed a lovely dinner with friends in a private alcove with table for 8. It was quiet there and conversation was easy. Service was fine and moderately paced- could have been a bit more attentive, especially after the check. Food was delicious, with portions and prices reasonable. Good time, no rush, no stress. Recommended!
A nice quiet restaurant located in Timonium, MD serving seafood. We arrived on a Wednesday afternoon for a lunch. A few minutes wait and we were seated. I ordered a cream of crab soup. It was perfectly seasoned. I would have preferred more lump crab meat. It was hot. Not too thick. Would get again. Tried the seafood combo sandwich which consisted of a crab cake with blt over shrimp salad on a brioche bun. Very tasteful. Could only eat half due to the thickness of the sandwich. The other order was Mahi Mahi sandwich. It was also delicious. No desserts as we were full..would recommend a return to this location
Summary: Food's tasty but the service (for price + atmosphere), notsomuch. If you've any kind of time constraint, would avoid. Went at 1pm w a party of four on a Sept Tues. Dining room was fairly busy when we sat (waited ~5min for booth) but by mid-meal we were one of only a few tables. (read: no excuses for lack of attentiveness, below) First: The good (food)! Cream of Crab soup was delicious, nice & creamy w good chunks of crabmeat. Surprised to have to ask for old bay with a seafood dish at a seafood restaurant here in the heart of old bay country, but no big deal, maybe enough ppl don't request it. The Brisket Quesadilla was also surprisingly yummy (get sour cream onside!), had with the fried rice which was not the tastiest (more American/European than Asian) but went fine with the dish - and I think the best (hot) option; Tried tablemate's fries and they were solid meh. Overall, main complaints revolve around the service / potentially our server herself. Issue 1: Attentiveness. I ordered a draft beer to start, asked to sample an unfamiliar brew. Sample came out swiftly enough, but after I confirmed, it took so long for the beer to come (~>10 min) that I had forgotten about it. OK, perhaps no one's "fault", maybe bar was super busy at 1pm. But what really bothered me / feels more inexcusable was that the clearly-empty sample cup sat on the end (aka universal "this needs bussed" zone) of table the *entire* rest of meal, through frequent visits from both server (taking orders, refills, food drops) and others (food drops). It was actually in the way when main entrees came (barely enough table space to fit all plates), and yet it *still* remained uncleared. Several others piled up (empty soup bowls / appetizer plates, beer glass) + also remained uncleared for majority of meal until after check. Perhaps it is policy that servers not bus own tables (specific staff for that)? - but if that's the case, would expect communication to assigned busser to clear table. Issue 2: Attentiveness again, this time around water refills. Staying hydrated is important, so I consciously drink lots of water. When glass is empty, I place at table's end so it's clear to any server even glancing over that it needs refilled (which place seems clearly equipped to do as they've pitchers at server stations in dining room). Well, similar to the (lack of) bussing situation, there were several times server came by and ignored (multiple) empty water glasses. Happened a few (different, ie refilled-then-empty again) times and I find it hard to excuse or waive blame, as there's a pretty clear solution: when I was a server (many moons ago) and noticed a particularly thirsty table during a busy time, I'd drop off a full water pitcher so they could refill themselves, a win-win for all since they stay hydrated and I wouldn't then need to frequently check-and-refill. At the very least, just baseline human attention would notice the frequent empty waters after the first or second time and would react accordingly (ie check more often). Issue 3: Myself and another ordered appetizers (that delicious crab soup!) at the same time we placed our entree orders, specifically requesting those to come out first (a fairly standard/default request, to have soup coursed before entree). Well, the soups did come out before entrees... by about 30 seconds. I enjoy my hot food hot, which is part of the reason I want hot things coursed out - otherwise, it becomes a frustrating race against the clock as you rush to stuff your face with all the rapidly-cooling food. To be sure, this could have been more kitchen's "fault" than our server's but still, an unhappy end result. I was also sad when it took a solid 5-10 minutes to bring over the old bay I requested when the soup came out. I want to again state that I wouldn't have such "high" standards were it not for the price point + atmosphere the establishment seems to be trying to cultivate: for a place with ~$20 avg lunch entree price, I would expect more attentive / better service. At least the food was good!

This place rocks! (Pun intended). Highly recommend booking a climbing session in advance for kids. Took my 14, 12 and 11 year old who had virtually no rock climbing experience. Tim, their guide, fitted them with shoes and harnesses and was absolutely

AF Timonium is a great small gym. Good variety of machines and plenty of space for free weight workouts. Staff member Jerrod is great. He is a one man show most of the time I have been there, but he definitely gets the job done with keeping the gym c

Delicious food and very generous portions (literally bursting out of the to-go boxes!). Friendly staff and it was also a very nice gesture to include a small package of German chocolates around the holiday season. Happy holidays! âï¸ðð§§ð¥ ð
Took my wife to Advanced Radiology for an afternoon appointment. Have visited other places in the shopping center previously. During this visit, the parking lot was not crowded and the facility wasn't very busy.
We stopped in while on our way to Virginia. We were very impressed with this place. The place is deceptively large. The staff was very friendly and helpful. There is inside seating as well as a nice shaded outdoor place. The food and coffee were exce
