Best little hidden gem anywhere. Please let me know of cancelations as I stayed two weeks by myself in a one bedroom condo through bluegreen. Luckily a lady canceled. Not a lot of fancy but perfect to me. I want to come back to a condo but never any availability!! Dan Foley
The location and room were great. The bed is so uncomfortable. The staff was nice.
We have been coming to this resort many years. Check in personnel and cleaning crew are very friendly and knowledgeable with whatever question is asked. They go out of their way to help however they can. The back of this resort is the beach which is wonderful for morning walks or gorgeous sunsets. It also has an on sight restaurant, nice pool with available pool noodles for all to use, and free coffee at office. I highly recommend you visit them.
I’ve owned timeshares here for 30+ years. Newly renovated units are really nice. Unfortunately we are losing Beach front access. See grapes and sea oats continue to grow blocking beach views.||||For the first time ever Beach Bistro has conquered more than 1/2 the available remaining Beach with the addition of 6 outside dining tables. In previous years Beach Bistro was not permitted outside dining.
Things we loved: right on the beach, room recently remodeled, on a quiet stretch of road, fun restaurants and attractions nearby. ||Things we were disappointed in: condo not ready for us at checkin time of 4pm. Lots of “regulars” there for 3-4 weeks that took over the property (toys/strollers/beach stuff piled everywhere). Hardly any lounge chairs (7 at pool, 4 on beach) and people claimed them with towels for the entire day. Room remodeled, but very poorly. Our bathroom window was sealed shut (no ventilation), plugs not grounded, no lights in kitchen (we had to use a flashlight at night). The ocean front rooms are taken by a restaurant (Beach Bistro) that has delivery trucks coming in and out and valet parking taking place right out by your condo.
So we honeymooned here in 2000, just after we purchased our timeshare with Bluegreen. We have been back one more time after moving to Bradenton, FL, 10 miles from AMI/ Holmes Beach. In 2000 it was in need of a little TLC, but we LOVE the small vibe feel. So if you're looking for a big swanky place this is not for you. It's a place for families to reconnect and spend time making memories. Or just kick back and unwind, does anyone know how to do that anymore? AMI is not a big party area like St Petersburg Beach, places close early. Since then Resort Sixty Six has been renovated with some upgrades. You may be limited on water views, but you're still on the beach and don't have to hunt for parking and fight the crowds at the public beaches.
Resort 66 is an "old-school" resort, so nothing fancy. But it's location just can't be beat. No matter which condo you get, you are merely steps from an amazing beach! It's a very small resort with a very chill vibe - which was perfect for us. The 1 bedroom condos are fine for 2 people, but would be very tight for anymore than that. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you would need to enjoy a week a the beach! The ladies at the front desk were lovely and friendly. I would return in a heartbeat! We loved Resort 66 and Anna Maria Island!
My family and I have been going to Resort Sixty Six for 8-10 years. Small resort with lots of charm and located right on Holmes Beach. Resort just reopened Jan 1, 2022 after 1 1/2 years of renovations. Beautiful pool and hot tub with gated security. One of Florida's top 5 restaurants located on the premises. Walk through the courtyard to the beach. Gas grills and laundry available. We love Resort Sixty Six!

Chicago born & raised. This place is awesome. Had the Maxwell Street polish and the chili cheese dog. They were delicious. Decor is awesome. Everything is made fresh to order. Wide menu selection and I'm just getting started.
Passage Key by Bird Island off Anna Maria. The clearest water... we saw sharks and a barracuda. The best place to anchor and relax on the boat, as it wasn't too crowded today.
