Lots of history of Winchester, KY as well as the history of Bluegrass music. Tour guide was very knowledgable and answered all our questions. If your a senior it’s only $2 and you get a free Cold Ale8. Enjoyable couple hours. A must do if your visiting the area.
We stumbled on to this museum and did a Saturday tour. We had the best tour from Mickey. Both he and Brenda were wonderful to talk to. Mickey had so much knowledge of all the artifacts in the museum.
I'm from Florida my family and roots is here in Winchester. I brought my 2 daughters here to see the museum. It was absolutely gorgeous the history here and the Artifacts absolutely amazing. I don't remember the woman's name who greeted us but she was awesome and extremely knowledgeable and so kind.
What a gem this place is! The exhibits are phenomenal. So many collections of so many cool antique items! Our docent made the visit even more special. We learned so much about the history of Winchester and its people. Absolutely one of the best museum experiences I've ever had. It is hard to believe that such a small building could house this many fascinating pieces of history. This was the highlight of our trip to Winchester and we are positive it will be yours as well.
Stopped in on our last day in town and the wife and I absolutely enjoyed our visit.Lots of great things to see and we definitely appreciated the fact it was handicap accessible to get inside as well as navigate the three floors.Definitely recommend a visit to anyone passing through the area.
This museum is a must see! From the knowable and kind safe to the 3 stories filled with so much history I'm still amazed.
Small entry fee. Alot of history and information in the 3 story house.
