The Nutella muffin was wonderful and the smoothie was tasty and healthy (to counteract the unhealthy muffin). They have made the atmosphere relaxing, but could use some couches and comfy chairs to augment their "diner" atmosphere. It's local and good, so I'll definitely visit again!
In Douglas for errands and found this nice eatery for lunch. Plenty of indoor seating and pleasantly decorated. I only ordered 1 sandwich and casually mentioned I would split it with a family member since he eats so slowly. They brought out 2 plates to us with each their own sandwiches for the price of one! I was happy to donate more to their tip jar for the thoughtfulness. So refreshing to find a healthy cafe in rural Arizona.
Stopped by Blueberry Cafe this morning at their brand spanking new location located at 600 G Avenue in Douglas, AZ (locals will remember the building as the old La Frenzy/old Pizarrama). The interior is tastefully and intricately decorated and they did well with the massive space, making it feel cozy and like you're at home. The service was extremely friendly, further extending that feeling of home. We kept it simple with two drip coffees, a traditional breakfast, and Concha French Toast. We also could not pass up trying their homemade bacon and cheese quiche. The coffee is excellent and an excellent choice for coffee in this town, the breakfast was solid with tasty an simply executed toast, bacon, eggs, and hash browns. Cocha French Toast is a viral online sensation which could make some skeptical, but it was a flavorful sweet treat covered in fresh whipped cream, fruit and chocolate syrup. Very well done here, it was so tastefully topped that you may not even need the syrup! The quiche was a cheesy and savory flavor explosion, highly recommended. All in all, it was an excellent experience. There was a small delay in getting the food out and in payment, but it's a new locale with newer staff, so you gotta give them a minute to get their bearings. I have full confidence in this being resolved in the very near future. Whether you want breakfast, lunch, or just to sip a cup of coffee in an upbeat, yet chill environment, come check it out. We WILL be back for lunch sooner rather than later.
The cafe is beautiful but we felt the menu was limited. During the time we were eating they never offered us any more coffee until we were almost leaving and by then it was too late. We were disappointed 😔.
What a wonderful little cafe. I had a mocha latte and some French toast. Everything was amazing including the service and the price!! If you ever find yourself in Douglas for some unknown reason, this place is well worth stopping into. Very cool decor in there too. Be prepared for street parking, parallel if I remember correctly.
Great smoothies, salads, and lattes. Thankful to have a place like this in Douglas.
Good coffee, fresh ingredients, and homemade baked goods. Prices are great!
What a find! Do not miss this breakfast restaurant if you are in Douglas. Absolutely delicious home-made food. We will be back just for El Rinconcito Del Sabor.
Edit: Itâs too bad the original keeper of this site passed in 2022. The young person it went to doesnât appreciate the history, doesnât value the folks taking care of it, and wants it gone. Really a shame. Original: Great Arizona historical si
Ole! This mexican restaurant was recommended to me by a local football mom in Douglas when I took a group to play them. The food was very flavorful and smelled great when I walked inside. Was greeted immediately and was nice and busy AND was seated i
