Here several times. The Pizza is terrific, the food is very good and the drinks are very good. Love the ambience of the Rabbit Room. Brought friends here, but will be a little bit less because of the ADDED COST of the CREDIT CARD FEE.
Went to Blue Steel Pizza Co this weekend. Didn’t know what to expect as we’ve never had Detroit Style Pizza before. My friends and I had a blast. We didn’t make a reservation but were seated in a timely manner after a round or two at the bar. Ambience and music were on point and the staff were excellent even on a busy night they were not missing a beat. Jackie? The owner/manager was super attentive and knowledgeable with the food recommendations as well as pairing my husband’s meal with a whiskey cocktail. My husband, who is impossible to impress, was blown away by his whiskey knowledge. He was super welcoming as well. Can’t wait to go back and hang with that team again.
We didn't need reservations for our Sunday night visit. They were out of a few items on the menu but the selection was still quite adequate. The wait staff was helpful in helping us make a good choice for our dinner. Excellent food but I think that the portions are very small
Came here recently for a date and was pleasantly surprised. The front entrance doesn’t give the inside any justice.
The ambiance was modern and sultry. There is a brick oven in the middle however which is a reminder of the fact that Blue Steel is known for being a Pizzeria. There is music playing but not too loud that you have to put bass in your voice.
We were on time with our reservation and were greeted with a smile.
We started with drinks and ordered the Hi-Tea and I ordered the Sunset Durango. Both drinks were amazing. I wanted something sweet and strong, and the Sunset Durango did just that. I tried his Hi-Tea and it was on the sweeter side, but it was refreshing.
Now onto the best part, the food.
He ordered the Supreme pizza and I ordered the Spicy Rigatoni. The wait time for the food wasn’t that long, but even if it took long….it was worth the wait!
The Rigatoni was amazing. I have no complaints, besides the portion. The portion could’ve been a little more. I really took my time eating it, because I didn’t want to finish it so quickly. I tried the pizza, and I almost fainted. It was delicious. The sauce, the crust, I am writing this wanting to run across the bridge and get this.
In all, I highly Blue Steel for a casual date night, family dinner, or even a solo date. The service, food, and drinks were everything!
If I’m in the area, I will be back!!!
Awesome place. Awesome food. Awesome service. I had the meatball appetizer and it was great. The pepperoni pizza was amazing. Never had Detroit style before. It was so good. The atmosphere is awesome. Dark, comfortable, great music playing at a respectable level. Service was super attentive. Can't wait to go back.
Best local cocktail bar with (dare I even say this) delicious deep dish pizza… in Jersey. The Dan Dan noodles and other apps are very tasty.
We the prices for the pizza are a little insane $21 for an 8x10 pie lol however!!! The pizza is SO good... the perfect amount of everything lol their Angry Vodka pie is fire! Just be careful when you order for delivery or pickup because you end up with a little bit of a mess in the box.
This establishment is really welcoming, the food and the cocktails are amazing!!!
