My Aunt and Uncle opened and managed this once grand Motel, The Desert Inn, in 1958. Their Apartment was upstairs above the main Lobby. We used to vacation there. It had a Pool and Coffee Shop. What a destination for a 10 year old kid and I remember it so well!!

I'm wasn't looking for anything super high class, it was good while I was traveling in and out. Comfortable clean humble rooms. With a small fridge and microwave. I would come back if I drove by here again

My husband and his crew stayed here from October to December while working in Odessa. The owners take very good care of the motel. The rates are very good compared to the big chain hotels. Security is good. We never had any trouble with things missing or stolen. One way in and out of motel helps with security. The rooms were kept clean the whole time. Rooms are small but comfortable. I would recommend this motel while staying in Odessa.

Me and my husband stayed there for over a year. It was wonderful at first, even though half the time I was cleaning the room myself. We would buy our own cleaning supplies because half the time no one would show up to clean or give us toilet paper. At first they allowed us to have our dog but when my children came up they decide to tell us we had to get rid of him because we were moved to a room with two beds. What was the difference when we were still paying rent on time, still cleaning our own room, and buying our on supplies. The next thing that began changing was the fact that they got a new housekeeper. Then it went from we couldn't clean our own room to we had to stop putting a sign on the doors saying no housekeeping today, even though the room down the way kept one on theirs and no one said anything to them. So one day me and my daughter went to get something to eat came back and the new housekeeper was coming out the room because the managers wife was outside the room and when she saw us coming she told her husband(the manager) and the new housekeeper here we come. When we finally went in he throw us the bedspreads and sheets and told us to put them on the beds. Which was kind of strange because they were suppose to be in there cleaning. That day I realized my wallet was gone. All my identification(my id, my birth certificate, social security cars of me, my son and daughter, medicaid card, medicare card and bank card). I asked the manager about it and that is when we went to pay again for the room, the price ended up going up because we asked others who had been there not as long as us and they stated "they room price was still the same". So I say stay there at your own risk. But just keep your purses and wallets to yourself. Take it everywhere you go. They also never said I am sorry for your stolen wallet but I will find out if it may have been misplaced, thrown away on accident, or we will see what we could do. Another thing is there is not a swimming pool as shown in the photo of blue star. Oh one last thing they don't change out the filters in the ac, they just take them out and dust them off. Like really do they really think that's helping my daughter missed so much school behind having bad headaches from her allergies. We stayed from Nov. 2010 until April 2012

We stayed here on our Big 2016 Road Trip. We'd had some woeful experiences in the oil patch in previous years, but now that the rigs are parked and the town's slowed down, rooms that were booked solid or wallet-breakingly expensive are (for now) available and affordable. We got a room with kitchen, sofa, and big comfortable beds for a great price, and had a very quiet restful evening. It's sad that the boom's become a bust, but it's also nice to now be able to get a good room at an affordable price.

Get what you pay for , only hotel left everything was sold out. Paint was peeling off, dirty walls, dirty mirrors, Air conditioner felt like it didn't work at all felt better outside, stained yellow sheets, pillows were stained if you can even call it that might as well have nothing they were flat. Found a dead cockroach in the restroom, pretty much everything looked dirty half ass cleaning job found a used dirty fork on the microwave. Don't even get me started on the staff the lady at the front desk was rude and judgmental.

Joe's apartment had less cockroaches than this place. Paint is flaking light fixtures are missing light switch face plates are cracked and missing. door does not lock all the way. windows don't have locks. Service is terrible at front desk. I have stayed here a few times over the years because it is one of the cheapest places in town. I have been woken up in the middle of the night to drug deals and angry prostitutes. I would not recommend this place for anyone who is faint of heart. But if you can stay here, you can stay anywhere. Also management makes a huge deal out of complaints and don't ask for a plastic cup.

I have stayed in worse rooms, but not for a very long time. The standard of construction of the rooms is of garden shed style. No ceilings, just the underside of the bare insulation board. Painted brick walls. Semi painted doors. Carpentry that would embarrass a child. Wiring tacked up with nails. Decor is shabby. Old. Think yard sale stuff. Bathroom tired. Dusty. Smelly. Noisy. Train tracks very close. If the room had been $40 I could have understood it, but for $75 I really expected better. On the plus side there was a bed. I cannot think of any other redeeming features.

Ruff House is amazing! This is a high level school with high level coaches. Dez, and the rest of the coaching staff do an awesome job with the adults and kids. They work extremely hard to provide the proper instruction for everyone. If you’re ready
