I have stayed here several times do to doctor appointments. They have always been so friendly and allowed me to check in a little earlier so my husband wouldn't have to wait in the car. He is on oxygen and it has been 100 degree weather. Thank you so much for your kindness.
First impression was OK, it's an independent hotel. But as you look around, the A/C is controlled from the front desk so you can't change them temp in the room at all. Bathtub was so dirty and shower didn't work. My son was playing on the carpet with his trucks and his knees and feet were black after about 30 minutes. Sheets felt worn, nothing is white so that let's your imagination run. It didn't feel clean, I didn't find any bugs but wouldn't be surprised if someone did. Thing is, the price doesn't justify staying here, its the same price as o many other hotels. I highly suggest going with a branded hotel, look at Lexington or Ogallala even, before considering staying here. It's a local hole.
My husband and I Stayed here for two days while his mother was in the hospital, this was by no means a modern hotel. they still have keyed doors anduse paper for logins. but it was clean, comfortable and the Front desk lady was the best. The rooms were very very clean. They charged a reasonable service fee per night for pets. the only real complaint I have is not being able to control the temperature of the room. The first night it felt like we were in a hot box. However it had a ceiling fan and box fan in the room which made it tolerable the second night was much better. it also is a little noisy due to its location, of being right in a main road in the town. I would stay here again !
Road tripping cross country and we were able to get their last room of the night. Old school with normal keys and paper records, but honestly we’ve had stays at fancier hotels where we didn’t get what we needed: a king bed. Blue spruce delivered. Walkable to walgreen, a liquor store, various restaurants. Really good spot!
We found Bed bugs so I don't recommend this place at all. Guys walking around in pajamas all night in parking lot. We missed our concert because they lied about the pet policy. All other hotels were booked so so we missed it because we couldn't leave our dogs in car at those temps so we headed back to Omaha after traveling all the way there. We will get over this but never stay there or recommend The Blue Spruce.
On a busy street, so not really quiet, is what it is. Beds were comfortable and that's all I cared about that particular night. Check in was quick and lady was very friendly
I'm usually immediately skeptical with motels that cost less than every other place but this was the nicest place I stayed on my entire trip.
Booked 2 rooms online , got there and only one reserved. She claimed card rejected for second room even though first room was never charged . I think she had someone walk in with cash and sold one of our rooms .
We were pulling off the road after a long day driving. Elex was the first friendly face we encountered. He made check-in very quick and made a long day have a good ending. The next morning, the front desk gals were incredibly kind as we were packing
I only have one suggestion, that they put a gravel or concrete walk way from the road to the picnic area by the play ground. Other than that the park perfect! There are many spots for family pictures. There are docks for those that enjoy sitting
The ice cream here is always great and the slice of pie was HUGE. I asked for just a small scoop of ice cream so that's why the ratio of pie to ice cre is off in the pic. The service is always wonderful when we are and they don't mind you asking lots
We love this spot. We pass through NE on I-80 via car a couple times per year, and always try to time our stop so we can visit Peg Leg (there are a few hotels right across the street, convenient place to stop for the evening.) The beer is great and
Pals' Brewery is undoubtedly one of the most popular and vibrant destinations in North Platte. Whether you're looking to spend quality time with friends or enjoy a family outing, this place has it all. The staff at Pals' Brewery are friendly and alwa
