BEWARE!!!!! Hotel owner is a crook! I booked this room for $290.00 for double occupancy on priceline/booking.com and when my daughter and her friend arrived they were forced to give a $200 CASH deposit, he asked her who was staying in the room and she told him just them two, it was a single bed reservation. He told her it would be another $40.00 CASH! for her to have two people in the room. She called me concerned and I explained to him that my reservation said double occupancy.|||| Even his own website says double occupancy when booking and it was only 310.00 total on his sight. so why is is $40.00 cash more to book through another party. He wouldn't even let me explain that he is advertising double occupancy even on his own site. He said I wasn't allowed to tell him what his web site said he knows what his rules are and he doesn't have to provide service to anyone... His website, to my ability to find, does not say $200 cash deposit... and it does not mention that there is a per person fee. You are only booking a room for one person. or at least yesterday that was his rule... I think he was trying to scam a young girl and when questioned he got angry. || He got angry wouldn't let me talk and then REFUSED to let my daughter stay there. HE is scamming people! When I went back in to look at price line for tonight his rates rose another 150.00!! He also told her if she did anything wrong she wouldn't get her $200 back... what does that mean?? SUCH A TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE!! He refused her service because she questioned his $240 CASH only rule. If you book there be prepared to send or bring hundreds of dollars of cash with you for his "rules" that are not in writing on the booking sights. If someone in that type of business can't take credit card deposits etc I would say they are not reporting their cash earnings to the IRS.... IMO
No shower curtain, the water in the shower did not drain, no hangers. Tv remote did not work well, no ac remote. Get if only last resort. I would not recommend
My mother said if you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all. That's not going to happen. The motel was recently renovated and the rooms are clean and very nice. The front door key didn't work, no towels in the room. No ice bucket or cups and no soap. The price was good but they charged $30 for a small pet. The website was also misleading. The price shown, $54, didn't include all the add on cost. The cost of a night's stay was $134. Would I return. Probably not.
This place is definitely very nasty. Checked into my room let them know. I had kids came into the room. Noticed the door barely closed and locked. Also, there’s a whole Nats nest and two different areas of the room on top of the wall the lamps in my room are broken as in the shade part as well as discolored like somebody peed on them, the bed had bugs on them when we left the sheets. My kids were afraid to go to sleep in them because they said they felt bugs on them. Stains on the wall on top of the ceiling as well as bad paint job on the walls you can still see the blue that used to be underneath it . The blinds for the windows are like drawn on if given the chance I would never stay here again booking next time for $208 for one night was just totally not worth it for me in my family. Do not recommend staying here.in case anyone was doubting I did add some photos of the room.
We absolutely love pismo beach and our go to place to stay is blue seal inn. The owner Don is very kind and treats you like family. He does his best to accommodate you! My husband and I have been staying here for over 6 years. We highly recommend it
Positive: The staff was very accommodating. Thank you staff Negative: There was cobwebs several places in the room and the sheets didn?t smell clean. Also, The headboard was very dusty.
Positive: Nothing. He refused our service because we wouldn't give him 240 cash for a deposit and having a double occupancy. He tried charging cash per person at check in. Negative: The owner was rude, wouldn't listen, yelled and tried to bully and scam my daughter. I'm out ---- because he wouldn't let her stay. I filed a complaint and want my money back --- a night is too much for this place
HONEST REVIEW TIME : I was excited to check into this hotel, affordable and close to the beach. I got to the front desk, and they had no record of my reservation. To be fair, the employee squeezed me in at the rate I had an email for (but I feel like I got lucky...). The woman behind me was getting more toilet paper, which should have been an alarm in my head. We got to the room and we only had half a roll that had been there since the guests before us; their offices were already closed when we realized this. The room was pretty clean, a clean fridge and comfortable pillows. Although I wish we had a mirror in our bathroom, and the TV remote worked a little better. This is a good option for someone looking for a place to crash after a day of getting wet and sandy at the beach that won't burn your wallet.
We love staying here! Every room has an ocean view and when we stay on upper levels we love keeping the sliding door open so we can hear the ocean waves and feel the fresh air. Very cool town as well. We love to go into town for food and San Luis Obi

Definitely recommend this hotel. Great service. Room was super clean and nothing was missing. Nice play area with playground, table tennis... Etc. The views from the hotel and from the rooms (ocean front rooms) are spectacular. There's a trail that r
Friendly staff, gorgeous-view oceanfront rooms, and dog friendly. Really enjoyed having a glass of wine on top of the cliff watching the sunset. It's also really nice being able to walk so far on the clifftop walk from hotel to hotel. Some minor issu
A few friends and I walked in for some late night tacos. Even though we walked in 10 minutes before closing, the workers were so kind and accommodating. I was astonished at the unique meat options I have never seen elsewhere! I always go for a classi
Beautiful little park on the cliffs overlooking Pismo beach. Toys/ playground was very busy when we were there. A nice path goes along the cliff with lots of places to sit and enjoy the views
If you are a foodie, then you should certainly check out this place! Bobbie is great! I found out about this sandwich/bread shop and am so glad I did! It is one of those LOCAL treats that you may pass by if you did not look for it, I know I did until
Visited this location close to sunset on our way back to Pismo from the Hearst Castle. The grounds are very interesting and beautiful. The entire visit lasted about one hour and cost $20 for two adults, kids are free. I look forward to being able to
This little overlook provides an amazing view! It wasnât super busy, but itâs surprisingly chilly out so it may be that. Plenty of room for the kiddos to run around and play, just be careful of the construction areas!
Wonderful experience in December. Not overly crowded, weather was wonderful. I even found a wild honey bee hive in a tree along the road when we parked. Beach was beautiful as well. White sand beach.
Worth the wait. There is a small outdoor area to sit and eat but no indoor seating. Everything is basically "to-go". That being said it is sooooo good. One of tge places you will go again and again. Biscuits are delicious but the chorizo tacos are ou
