Blue Ribbon Diner - Diner in Wauseon - 8198 OH-108, USA

This place is really big and it was packed when I got lunch there. The Beef Manhattan was excellent... Update 6/26/2023 I stopped on a Monday for lunch, and I ordered the Hot Turkey sandwich along with a cup of soup. The soup was delicious, and you could tell it was homemade, it was so tasty. As far as the Turkey, it was shredded instead of sliced and to be honest I like sliced much better. The shredded Turkey seemed dry to me, but the gravy helped a lot and was very tasty. The vegetables were green beans, and they were some of the best beans I have ever had. Overall, this was a great meal, and I will stop again, just next time I will order something different.

We were in town for an event at the fairgrounds and came out early Saturday morning to try this place. I wanted some eggs and bacon. If you're not getting an omelette, the options were 1 egg or 2 eggs, and I was thinking that was not much, but 2 eggs were actually a lot, considering you get hash browns and toast. My friend wanted blueberry pancakes and they were as big as your head! Everything was GREAT! We'll be back!

This was my first time at Blue Ribbon Diner. The food was good but the portions are huge. The biscuits and sausage gravy were delicious. The hash browns were also cooked to almost perfection with a nice crispness to it. Their bacon was also on point. Can’t wait to try their lunch next time I am in town.

The food was excellent, however, though our servicer was friendly, she was very discombobulated. We had very specific questions about the menu and she confirmed our options but when out food was delivered, it was all wrong. We don't like to complain so it was awkward. She served all our food at one time ( we had appetizers and salads which ideally should come first) and because they were busy (which is a good thing) we were sat at a very tiny table which completely took away from the experience as my husband dropped his belongings on the floor from lack of room. It was cramped to say the least and they had an entire back dining room not even being used. We passed though town hoping for a good experience but the only good thing was the food.. Which is what matters most, right?

Food was really good. Got a combo club. Service could be a little better. All in all I would recommend this nice restaurant

The place is family friendly and the waitress memorized our large order and got it right, very impressive. Majority of the meals come with a soup which I was not thrilled about at first, but I was surprised by how delicious it was, made me want more :) however my sandwich was just as delicious. I highly recommend this place.

Cold winters afternoon .. comfort food at its BEST! The fish fry reminds me of the family meals after a weekend fishing trip! Fresh , fried and flavorful fish dinner. I was surprised to see the peas- they taste like my grandmas from the garden. Other meals in my party - the roast beef with gravy - my husband got extra gravy. French toast made with fresh thick bread in early dinner menu. We all got the fresh brewed ice tea. The service was A plus - quick refills and checking in on us! Extremely clean .. easy parking out in the country. I will definitely be back out to enjoy another meal. Ps: huge portions - I brought 1/2 the fish and fries home along with a piece of carrot cake! 🤗

Great diner with home style comfort foods. I saw some complaints about the price, blame POTUS for that. You get what you pay for. I have been there for breakfast and lunch, haven't been disappointed.
