Stopped at the Blue Plate Tavern the other night. What a Great Place! Very, very clean! Courteous and friendly staff. Creative, tasty, reasonable tavern-fare, with numerous daily specials, and killer seasoned French fries. Drinks are reasonable, ample and fairly priced, while beer is always ice cold. They also cover all the bases with things to do: karaoke, darts, pool table. etc. The Blue Plate is Plainville's version of "Cheers", where everyone knows your name. I love this place, it's what a Tavern should be! Drop by, I'm sure you'll like it!
Would have been great if it weren't for the Anti-military atmosphere. Only "young and dumb" join the military. This wasn't from the service but the patrons, but still of all days, 9/11 shouldn't be one of those days. I really hope this isn't the local me tality here.
Great wings, also there house salad is really good as a side.
Ordered to go and 2 of the 3 items were awful. The Pastrami Egg rolls were fried to a crisp. I thought; I'll give em a pass, maybe they were busy. My wife's burger came out OK and I thought; maybe this would be so bad after all. Then I took a bite out of my Pattie Melt. Can someone please explain to me how you manage to burn raw food? What's crazy is the sandwich was cut and half meaning the patty was also cut and half, yet the edges were brown and burnt. This means the cook saw this burger was raw,pressed the edge back to the grill to get it nice and burnt, and knowingly served it to me raw!
Skyla the bartender was sweet...food amazing I had garlic parm wings and string onion rings so good the wings were small the way I love them and crispy no sog. The zesty sauce was bomb.
The dirt wings are fireee... great alternative to JTims if you wanna pay half the price but stay in the same area
Just tried last week for the first time. I'm allergic to soy, nuts, and peanuts and they accommodated me. The chef and waitress were knowledgeable and very nice. The wings are the best I've ever had. The honey garlic parmesan wings were out of this world. Crispy, not soggy, and have no replaced J Timothy's as my favorite wings. Praying they're here for a long time!
Was ok, the owner counting bar funds at the bar is just a tad tacky and having a small dog running around jumping up on me to beg for food ( which is what dogs do, so no disrespect to the dog ) is not quite what I was expecting.

Very nice park. I always bring my kids here. You can rent one of their pavilions for events. We rented one for a community barbecue. The renting process was easy. They give you around 8 benches and space can hold up to 100 people.
