Blue Palms - Motel in Wildwood - 3601 Atlantic Ave, USA

So during Black Friday Moreys piers Aka blue palms ran a winter sale which I purchased because it was a fabulous deal. I also stayed at blue palms last year- it’s funclusive meaning they give you  unlimited dry rides and water park rides on all piers for the duration of your stay from check in until I believe 4 or 5 pm the day of check out. You CANNOT book blue Palms resort as an Hotel ONLY through their website. It is advertised as funclusive per their website. During the Black Friday sale I booked through this winter sale for two nights and instead of 720 it was like $401. It was a great deal. It said there were date exclusions but the dates we were going are not included on exclusion list. There were no other details or stipulations or exclusions listed. And because I couldn’t get someone on the phone when I called or an answer via email I went ahead and booked but I also took videos and pictures of me trying to find any other stipulations. I have now been contacted three times by Moneys pier / blue palms saying it was a mistake and they did not catch it because they were on Thanksgiving holidays. They also accused me of misunderstanding it included rides and slides. I replied to this manager and told her it is not my fault that Moreys incorrectly labeled the sale. The entire hotel is funclusive and when you go to their site there is no option to book a hotel only. It only allows you to book funclusive. So why would the hotel advertise a special that did not include what they typically include and did not specify stipulations or exclusions for said deal. It is not my fault the promo & pricing that was advertised was incorrect and lacking details or exclusions. I expect what I booked the two nights at the blue Palms which is advertised solely as funclusive on their site . You literally can’t book a HOTEL ROOM ONLY via their website the entire place is funclusive through their site.

nice, clean rooms. retro atmosphere is awesome. clean, comfy rooms--only "complaint" is that we wish the fridge was apartment sized. pool was clear and clean. staff was professional, helpful and very personable. EXCELLENT location, and the new amusement ride/waterpark tickets package really make this a fantastic stay. we'll be back next year!

We always stay at the Blue palms a couple times a summer. The rooms are always very nice. Years ago when we took the kids we got the rooms that had two rooms and the kitchenette. They supplied the plates the parts the pans, everything. Now it's just my boyfriend and myself so we get the smaller room. It has one king size bed, a table by the window that you can eat at facing the pool. It also has a microwave. They also have barbecue grills that you can use and bikes that you can rent.The people go out of their way to be friendly. The pool is great. It's always clean and it was so warm when we went in August. We're planning on going one more time next weekend and will be staying there again.

We decided to go to Wildwood for one night for our anniversary. Always wanted to stay at a Morey’s property. Stopped at Blue Palms and they had a decent room. Fairly clean but we did have to have someone come in to vacuum since there were still crumbs, etc. on the floor. When we got into the room it was FREEZING with the AC cranked on high in both rooms. We immediately turned it off because it was 64 degrees outside. So bizarre- There are no temperature controls on the AC units. It’s on or off, high medium or low, and no heat. We went to the boardwalk and got some food, and when we came back the room had not warmed up whatsoever. We had to keep our jackets on inside. It was now 61 degrees outside and our room was colder than it was outside. We propped open the door and back window in hopes to bring some “warm” 61 degree air in, which did not work. We went to the office and told them how cold our room was and asked if they had space heaters. They told us they did not and gave us extra blankets. We then went to ShopRite to buy a space heater but it was $80 so decided against it. We closed the bedroom door and heated the room with candles we bought and the TOASTER from the kitchenette, yup the toaster. Showering was rough, it was so cold. We froze all night, I slept in a sweater. When we got up in the morning from an almost sleepless night the bedroom was slightly warmer than the couch room thanks to burning candles all night and hitting the toaster as much as possible but we could see our breath in the room with the couch. It was awful. We likened it to when you have no heat in your house in the winter and it’s uncomfortably cold. We couldn’t sit in the living room area and watch TV comfortably. When we went to checkout we explained this to the girl at the desk. She was nice enough but said “We have space heaters, you should’ve asked for one”. When we told her we did, she said she would let the manager know the night person didn’t know about them. This was NOT helpful. I’m contemplating what to do now as we paid $160 for this god awful night. Completely ruined our celebration getaway.

Place is clean. Don't stay here unless you want your car to get hit in their parking lot and for them to not care. Booked online and they called to change me to a different room because they don't have availability. Parking spots are barely big enough for a small car let alone an SUV. Then if no parking you get sent to a parking lot with other people who don't stay at the resort and no cameras for security. Definitely would NOT recommend to a friend.

This was our 2nd stay with our family of 2 adults and 2 teens. We found it to be clean, quiet, with decently large rooms and comfortable beds. The pool was rarely busy and was clean. The location is perfect, as it is right by the boardwalk and beach and between 2 of the piers. This year they offered unlimited ride and water park wristbands included for all of us for every day of our stay. What a HUGE value!!! Absolutely added so much to our vacation. |The first night we had a room with 2 queens in the main building and the rest of the stay was with a 2 room suite with queens in each. ||Downsides: The room was spacious and was great to have 2 rooms, BUT the bathroom sink has no space to put anything and there are no other sinks, counters, or mirrors outside the room. It made it really difficult to get ready as a family of 4. Our initial room may have been a better setup, because even though the room itself was smaller, there was a separate big counter with sink and mirror. There is no way to adjust the AC. I have never ever seen a hotel room without the ability to adjust. That said, the AC was nice and icy even on the hottest day, but if you get cold, this may not be the hotel for you. After a long day outside, it can get really chilly in the room! I love cool temps in the summer but even this was too much for me at times.||Overall though a great stay and we will surely return!

They kept the place clean. We always saw someone cleaning. The front desk staff has an attitude problem. We would never get enough towels for the number of people in the room. We got there early and checked in, knowing our room was not going to be ready. They said that as soon as it's clean, they would let us know, so we went to the beach. We came back to the room 15 min before checking. They said it was not cleaned yet and could not let us in. While my kids played at the pool, I sat outside the room waiting for it to be cleaned. No one came on or out of the room, and 15 min after check in They came up with the key. I would be nicer just to let me know there is no early check-in than to just lie to us. The front desk would do little lies all week. IT was annoying.

We stayed in a two double bedroom overnight in the bungalow. Parking was full in the normal spots but we easily found a spot in the parking lot behind and didn't have to pay anything because of our room hang tag. We absolutely loved the unlimited rides bracelet that was good for 24 hours from check-in at 3:00 p.m. The room smelled wonderfully clean and it was. Main room and flooring were beautiful. Bathroom was outdated but very very clean so no complaints here. Just steps from the boardwalk and the main rides and water park. We didn't use the pool so I can't comment on that. We went to a restaurant around the corner for dinner and and all. You can eat buffet breakfast also around the corner. Website mentioned a continental breakfast but that was pre-COVID and does not exist now. There was also free coffee in the lobby. We will definitely stay here again.
