Blue Oak Oyster Bar and Grill - Restaurant in Martin - 301 N Lindell St, USA

The place really was good. The service was fantastic and nice. We had an issue that got solved by the waitress without hesitation. The place could have a little bit more lighting to help the visually challenged people like my wife, however. The food was overall good, but nothing special. Overall, still a good place for a little town.

First visit wasn't horrible. Service was great for a busy Friday night. Great drink selection for adults. Good menu variety. My only true complaint, that is the most important for dining, was the way the food was prepared. Everything was overcooked, from the frier to the grill. This is an easy fix with the right training and kitchen experience. I'll be back for another try.

My husband and our son went here friday. I got catfish with French fries and loaded baked potato. My husband got a steak and French fries, my son got chicken tenders and French fries. For appetizers we got gator bites. The gator bites were sooo good that sauce!!! My son liked his tenders. My husband liked his steak and said that was by far the best steak he has had! Me. lol 😝🤣 my catfish was okay didn’t have much flavor to me and I told waitress and she told me to tell them next time add extra Cajun seasoning. The fries weren’t great they got hard on me. The hush puppies.. ek didn’t like. But the loaded potato was delicious. That’s why I gave 4 stars but overall the ambiance in there was super chill and I liked it.

It was our first time going and we were the only blacks in the restaurant so the atmosphere was odd to say the least and at first it seemed as if we was being ignored or overlooked finally a waitress came to take our order she was nice but the food was sooo good and my drink was good kinda strong but good

Great place for a dinner date. Cheese curds, Oyster sampler, cajun chicken tacos, and blackened snapper, were all excellent. I did think the blackened fried rice could've stood a bit less salt, otherwise, food and service was great! my wife thought the house Moscato was very smooth!

I have frequented Blue Oak since it opened. This has been a go-to of mine for a fancier dinner or just to get a good meal. Quite a bite of variety on the menu and everything I have tried has been good. The blackened tuna and the blackened cod tacos are two of my favorite dishes. The drinks are always great and they have drink specials often. ALSO, there aren’t many places in the Martin area to get oysters on the half shell. I recommend a visit to Blue Oak Oyster Bar and Grill if you are in the area!

The food was fantastic. We all got the classic burger, 3 w/cheese and 1 without. They were cooked to perfection and the bun was off the chart. Must of been homemade. The bun was so good I could of just ordered it. Will be back

This was our first time here. Some of our food was piping hot and some was not. We ordered a fried shrimp appetizer and it was delicious. I ordered the fish and fries. They were both hot and delicious. The hush puppies were hot on the outside but cold on the inside like the grease was too hot and they didn't get done in the middle. And my husband's tuna was cool on the inside. The service was good tho.
