The service we received at Blue Moose was the best we got during our whole weekend we spent in Grand Forks. The sandwiches we had for lunch were delicious, and the soup was good too. Given the choice, always choose the seasoned fries. Decore is outdoorsy but tasteful. Staff were friendly. Everything was clean. And I love that they leave a pot of coffee at your table. If we are ever back in Grand Forks, we will be stopping here again.

Great spot! I’ve stopped here many times while working in the East Grand Forks area and have always had a great experience with good food. The staff are great and work hard to make sure you have your drinks and food in a timely manner. At this visit I had the Ahi Tuna with broccoli & Jasmine rice as sides. The tuna was perfectly seared and tasted great. All of the salads are great here as well as the soups.

Food was really good and our server Kayla B wad fantastic. Been awhile since I've been and glad I stopped in. People need to remember to use their indoor voices and think of everyone else trying to enjoy their selves. One table was extremely loud and it wasn't called for. UPDATE - Sept 18th, the Oktoberfest menu is back. A fantastic take on a gyros with The Diner wrap, packed the flavor and great frittes. Must try the new addition of the Bruno's Beer Boat, the German potato salad was spot on, and the wurst with the saurkraut beer gravy is insanely tasty. Got to get it the Oktoberfest menu while it last.

Consistently has good food. They’ve changed their menu since last summer and I am missing some of the items, such as the broiled shrimp and onion rings. The walleye remains a wonderful entree. The pork nachos were okay. The cheesy potatoes are awesome! The side salads are of a good size. The stir fry entree is very tasty. One of the best restaurants in this area.

Overall good experience. Food is somewhat under seasoned and over priced but decent. Nice and speedy service. Interesting environment. I had the walleye and onion soup. I did get a couple of bones....

We arrived around 3pm & decided to eat outside, as it was gorgeous out. Through no fault of the establishment, every fly in the state joined us for lunch. We started with curds ($9), each ordered a beer ($7 per pour), I had a walleye sandwich ($19.25) & the hubs had the rueben ($14.75) Total after tax/tip was $75 for 2 I regret having ordered so many fried items, as the accumulation of them quickly became heavy. I ate about half of the fries & fish & left 3/4 of the bread. That's on me tho, I should have balanced my selections. The servings were not skimpy. The gal who helped us was great. She offered sides of ranch at ordering, checked in frequently, cleared quickly and was friendly. We passed on dessert, tho it was tempting & enjoyed our meals.

Went for their all-you-care-to-eat Thanksgiving dinner this past week. the food was awesome! The service was fast and friendly. My only complaint was at the end of the meal the server asked if we wanted a piece of pumpkin pie, or to take it with us. We decided to get it to go, and then the bill included an $8 charge for the pie. Granted it was one of the best pumpkin pies I have had, but I wish they had said prior it was an additional cost. I also take responsibility that I should have asked if it was extra. I will be back at a different time because they always have great food there.
