A cute little coffee shop with an eclectic demeanor. Their coffee is delightful, and they have fun seasonal and variety beverages as well. My favorite is the orange mocha. There is a limited selection of pastries available. The shop has a rotating collection of art that change throughout the year making it fun to come in and see what the latest paintings are. There is plenty of seating available, and seems the perfect place to study or work. There is a small children's play section inside of the shop. And it is dog friendly, with dog treats available by the cream/sugar station.
Such a cute little coffee shop. Lavender lattes are my go-to and I drink decaf now, Blue Kangaroos was SO GOOD. It tasted and gave the kick like caffeinated coffee and it wasn't overly sweet. Keep in mind that it is a small shop, just a few folks running it so the wait can be long on a weekend. Worth it though!
I personally don’t like the coffee here (not really what my review is about, I know that different people have different tastes in coffee), but I didn’t have a great experience with the pastries. I went in about 7:30 am one morning and got one of the marionberry pop tarts and it was stale and hard. The reason I mention when I went in is because it’s not like the pastry had been sitting out getting stale all day. I also got an orange cinnamon bun another time and also found it to be hard, so I microwaved it at home. Just overall a little disappointed with the food and coffee here, there are other coffee shops within walking distance that have more and better pastry options.
It has a cozy atmosphere but the bathroom is always disgusting and the air conditioning is turned on even though it’s cold outside. Most people are wearing coats, but it remains cold. The coffee is good!
This is such a good coffee shop! It was really busy and loud, but the quality of the coffee and food was 100%. The employees were so nice too!
Coffee was delicious here, I loved the honey lavender specialty drink. It did drink more like a latte than a cappuccino but it was very good, nonetheless. A happy and energetic vibe here makes this a great place to start your day!
I bought a little applesauce pack from them last year and when inspecting the packet it said “not for individual sale”…. Returned this year and got an iced mocha. When I questioned why there were chunks in my drink they said it’s just the mocha powder…. Was hoping they would offer to re-mix or remake it but hey can’t fault them because I’m sure they would’ve if I had asked.
I had a double shot Cubano. It was pretty good, a little acidic. It was busy, early Saturday afternoon. Which is normal for a place at that time, but the tables were left dirty, and it's pretty cramped. I'm sure it's great for the people who want a coffee place that is kid friendly. But it's not a great place to get work done if you're looking for that kind of atmosphere.

The bright, clean, quiet environment of Capitola Coffee is inviting and open. I had the pour over, and my friend had a salted caramel cappuccino. The coffee was great, although I think my pour over was brewed a bit high, but I realize it's nit-pickin
I really enjoyed this coffee shop. I got lucky with an open comfy, brown leather chair and a delicious oat cappuccino. I also ordered the breakfast sandwich and opted to add the jalapeno salmon spread. Highly recommend that spread, it was amazing!!
