10/10 recommended staying here! So comfy and clean. Literally a 10 minute walk to great food and drink options. We are already hoping to come back in the winter months and hopefully be able to stay here again. Very much loved that it's budget friendly without having to compromise safety or cleanliness.
Easy check in and out , pet friendly close location to shopping casinos and beach lake areas day use ( one beach you can walk to but you have to pay a coupon with discount is in the folder in your room, or you can drive to few beach areas Nevada beach Pope beach and others near by to enjoy the lake and picnic)they offer easy access for a dog beds and condiments if you run out, washer drier access and ice machine with other dishes to use and the pool area has a barbecue with basic utensils to use to cook with and clean towels for the pool use. The rooms are clean and wood flooring. I’ve stayed here many times and will continue great place 😊
I recently stayed at Blue Jay Lodge and had a wonderful experience. The rooms were clean, which made for a very comfortable stay. The service was outstanding—when I needed help with the fridge, the maintenance team responded immediately and resolved the issue. The location was ideal, with easy access to the beach, restaurants, and stores. All of the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. When I return to Tahoe, Blue Jay Lodge will definitely be my first choice.
love the location, staff, owner, cleanliness, self check in, & that pet dogs are allowed (not just service).
booked on abnb for a concert. a bit after checking in I received an email that the concert I was there for had been canceled. the owner was beyond helpful with options and he allowed us to reschedule our reservation for the new concert date, which is not typical.
second trip for the concert.... it was a fantastic stay! the rooms are clean with retro details and even have towels and a blanket for the dog.
it's a quick walk to Harvey's where the concert was and the taco place a couple doors down is delicious.
I'll definitely stay here again!!
big "thank you" to the attentive, friendly (and funny) staff and the owner who was so generously accommodating and turned our situation into an amazing get away!
We loved our stay at Blue Jay Lodge. The rooms were comfortable and the location was great! We loved the small touches, the soap, lotion, and shower supplies were high quality. The door lock keyless entry was easy. We were so happy to have a comfortable pet friendly accommodation. Communication for our trip was quick and clear. Our room was clean, the maid service did a good job of prepping the room. Thank you!
The rooms were clean and comfortable. I loved the online check in and how we have door codes instead of physical keys. The beds were sooooo comfy and the amenities in the room were well thought out! The lobby wasn't always open, but when it was there was coffee, snacks and a water fountain. The pool was small but clean. The location could not be beat -it took us 2 min to walk to Harvey's and the outdoor arena. You can hear outdoor/street noise, but it didn't bother us plus they provided ear plugs. Definitely will come back again, and the price was a great value.
Location was fine. But it was super dirty, we booked this room for two nights and paying around $600 . Bathroom was 🤢🤮🤮🤢. You could see lots of poop spots there. Unfortunately we couldn't find any other hotel and had to stay here. I haven't been in any hotel like this before. Also, room has very bad smell as well. If cleanest is important for you, Do NOT come this place .
I stayed at this property for 2 nights with a friend. The A/C was very noisy and didn't cool enough for me but my friend thought it worked well. The room came with great toiletries and ear plugs which was great for the noise from the upstairs rooms and the A/C. They have a laundry room for you to pay to do your laundry, a pool, BBQ area, and a closet full of supplies if your room runs out. The are pretty prompt at replying which is great. The hotel was in a great location to explore the area and has a deal with the Lakeside Beach which is worth the price in itself. I would def recommend this property.
The place is really nice, the water is crystal clear but very cold. It's worth it to pay the $5.00 fee to see this beautiful place. In the middle of it there's an old house, scary but beautiful.
Went with my daughter and husband and came from the heavenly line since the wait at the resort was 2 hours! They helped us right away and we were able to get all the equipment we needed in a reasonable time frame. The staff are super friendly and acc
Beautiful hike to Eagle Lake that took about 30 min after the bridge. This time of year there was snow and ice on the trail that made it slippery but was worth the quick trip up and back.
Took this trail to go to Cascade Falls. It's flat for the first 5 mins or so and then becomes rocky and risky at the corners.
There is some construction work going on in the area so they have put up temporary boards marking the trail. Good job!
