Blue Heron Escape RV Resort | Gulf Coast Alabama - RV park in Foley - 19700 Keller Rd, USA

We had the most amazing time at this resort. Centrally located, water parks, amusement park and beaches. Showers were awesome and always clean. Pool was beautiful and refreshing. Laundry area was nice and clean with 4 each, washers and dryers an iron and ironing board. Owner was friendly and helpful with local activities and restaurants. The grounds keepers were onsite, pleasant and quite helpful. We will be going to visit again!

Cleanest RV resort I’ve ever been to. The showers are AMAZING. Pool is fantastic. My grandchildren played in the pool for hours and loved it. Quiet campground with friendly owners. Beautifully landscaped. And located just outside of all of the crazy Gulf Shores traffic with close proximity to restaurants, shopping, etc. we will be back!

Great flat sites. Everything was clean, always helpful. Will stay here again if not for anything but the amazing shower rooms! It was about 15-20 minutes to the beach but it’s just because of the traffic but only 2 miles to shopping and eating out. The community room is very nice and allowed us to entertain friends for dinner. Great host!

We absolutely LOVE Blue Heron Escape RV Resort!!! The owners and camp host are amazing. They are located in the most perfect location, right in between Foley and Gulf Shores!! The resort has a perfect mixture of full-timers and vacationers. The pool is immaculate. I have never stayed at a resort with nicer and cleaner showers!!! They have waterfall shower heads in all 5 showers!! They have a beautiful clubhouse that is available to anyone that stays there. I could go on and on for days about how amazing this resort is! 10 Stars 🌟

This is absolutely the best RV park and hidden gem on the Gulf Coast! From the 5 star facility to the 5 star owners and staff. Absolutely the best bathhouses I’ve ever seen anywhere! And we’ve seen a lot of bathhouses as full time RVers! Once we found this wonderful RV resort in 2023, my husband never looks anywhere else for our stays on the coast of Alabama! This hidden gem will not stay hidden long!! Bravo, Blue Heron Escape, Bravo!

We’ve recently returned from a four month stay at Blue Heron RV Resort, located in Foley, Alabama. Blue Heron is conveniently located near shopping, restaurants, entertainment venues, Gulf Shores State Park, and Gulf Shores Beaches. There are numerous festivals and events sponsored by local municipalities and organizations in the area. Blue Heron Resort is family-owned and operated. They are great people, very accommodating. The park is well maintained. The showers and bathrooms are roomy and very clean. Laundry facilities are more than adequate. The clubhouse is clean, equipped with a kitchen, tables and chairs for games and events. The “Snowbirds” organize and support numerous events: game night, Saturday breakfasts, Thursday grill night, Wednesday Bean bag toss and nickel bingo night, occasional karaoke night and pot luck dinners. All events have been well attended by Blue Heron guests. Our experience at Blue Heron has been wonderful. Guests were friendly, interaction among guests was positive, and guests participated in scheduled events. We are looking forward to our return in December 2024 for another four month stay. This was our first time staying at Blue Heron Escape RV Resort. It was very, very nice! The owner was friendly, very guest oriented, willing to go the extra mile. The sites were roomy and not crunched up against each other. The resort is not large, but very clean and the hookups are very well positioned. Concrete pads, fairly level. We will be back and it's centrally located to restaurants, etc. It was quiet too. Again very clean and nice.

We enjoyed our 3 month winter stay immensely. The owners, hosts and volunteers were friendly and helpful. The food and fellowship at Thursday dinners and Saturday breakfasts that are offered during the winter season was very much enjoyed. The rv lots are spacious, ,level and beautifully maintained. The waterfall showers in the super clean bathrooms were a plus. We would definitely stay at Blue Heron any time we are in the area.
