Fabulous inn right on the ocean front. We had an oceanfront room with a spectacular view. Room was very spacious, extremely comfortable beds and a good shower in the bathroom. Breakfast was by pre order and delivered to your room at your specified time. The food came from a nearby restaurant and was very good and quite substantial as these sort of breakfasts go. Staff were helpful with local restaurants both recommendations we ate in and the food was excellent. Ideally situated if you want to visit Hearst Castle - a very short drive away. Make time to go and see the Elephant Seals again just a short drive from the hotel. Lovely walking along the boardwalk right outside the Inn. We loved Cambria and wouldn’t hesitate to stay at the Blue Dolphin again.
A quick getaway during the off-season, which made the prices more attractive. To be right across the street feom Moonstone Beach was a treat, and the lean, quiet atmosphere was just what we needed. Even the light rain made the walk on the nearby boardwalk a different kind of cozy experience. Staff was pleasant and more personal, and they included a delivered breakfast to our room in the price.
Location, location, location!! Perfectly situated along Moonstone beach with stunning sunset views. Spacious, comfortable and tastefully decorated room with ocean view(even from the "back" room)! The bed was very comfortable with multiple pillow types (down, natural organic fill Avocado style, synthetic fill, etc) perfect for side sleepers! Staff was very courteous and provided excellent restaurant recommendations and site seeing/excursion suggestions. In room breakfast delivered timely and was very tasty! Overall, a great value!!
Beautiful location! We enjoyed sipping wine by the fire table after dark, with the sound of the surf breaking right across the street. Our breakfast was delivered hot to our room every morning, and it was delicious!

Everything about the Blue Dolphin Inn is great. The rooms are very roomy and extremely clean and well appointed. The breakfasts are great. Their are even egg selections. The front desk people are wonderful. And it is located directly across from Moonstone Beach and the great boardwalk. They even provide a squeegee and rags to clean your car windshield.
We Booked the 2 Rooms at the Front with a Patio and Ocean View. The rooms were fantastic. All the comforts you could Imagine. |Bed 5 Star Bath 5 Star in fact the whole experience was 5 Star.|Breakfast delivered to your room at your chosen time and was perfect start to the Day.
Love the location, staff, and breakfast. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and Moonstone Beach is across the street. Great boardwalk for a morning or evening walk. Lots to do and see in the area: Hearst Castle, elephant seals, antique stores, or just take in the magnificent ocean views.

This place is so charming! Lovely gardens, quiet rooms. It's comfortable and close to downtown shops a d beaches on hwy 1. Close to Hearst Castle . I drove and it's about 15 or 20 minutes away. The restaurant in the hotel is nice and has good food.

Leffingwell Landing Park is a nice park to visit along the central coast. It is a small park but has walking trails along the shoreline, and great coastal cliff views. Well worth a pitstop if driving up Hwy 1.

Beautiful ocean view hiking trails in a nature preserve nestled between residential areas. Views of ocean, seals, birds. Most, if not all trails were suitable for a stroller and the shoreline trail can accommodate a wheelchair.
