BLUE BIRD INN - Hotel in Jamaica - 138-68 94th Ave, USA

We stayed here one night so that we would be closer to the airport. BIG mistake. The room was filthy. I was afraid to touch anything. The smell of weed was everywhere. Was woken at 12:30am to a very loud couple (rooms can rented by the hour). Enough said.

Manager was nice and tv worked. Rooms were absolutely disgusting and not soundproof. Literal bile was all over the mattress, walls, and bathroom floor in multiple rooms we were shown. No smoke detectors, broken hair dryer plug in part, and debris in the heater. This place is a dumpster fire waiting to happen.

Mmmmmmm really bad really sad. There were beds and there was a bathroom w a flushing toilet. Everything seemed and was dirty. Bathroom fan did not work. A/C blew cold once you stood up on the bed to turn it on, but room was always humid. Noisy, practically no difference in sound between inside and outside the room. There were lots of scary people (men) who were often in the hotel. Fitness center stores cleaning supplies. Best part of the stay: nice man front desk worker who after we tried our ONE KEY CARD on the door for about 8 minutes brought us two new working ones bc he just knew we needed them. Literally no lights or trash cans. The only light in the room was ALSO a black light. Location close to air train and subway. Also close to live chicken store.

Checked in the same day. Got my first room with no working AC in the middle of that NYC heatwave in the summer of 2022, promptly got another room of the same type with a better view. It's a block away from one of the subway stations so it is ideal for leaving your car there since parking, while limited, is free.

I stayed at this hotel 7/2021 and i must way i was going drive pass at first until i remembered all the other dumps i mean hotels lol so i stopped and from that moment they got a plus they have safe parking in the back that the night shift security watch from 8pm-6am very much guy. Front desk help day and night were very helpful and the cleaning lady was also nice and very helpful. The lobby and elevator was always clean, rooms always kept clean and free of smoke smell , spacious rooms nice for a quick stay. Oh and it has a kitchen downstairs for those who need the microwave can’t beat that check them out. Henry.

This place is a dump. I would not recommend to anyone. I stay there last weekend and the overweight woman at the from desk was rude. The security guard was rude and well no customer service skills. Room was disgusting and u have to reactivate your key everytime you leave the premises and come back. And they are lost of shady people in and around the premises and the hallway wreak or marijuana

I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone. The only good thing about the hotel was the king size bed but other than that, the ac didn’t work and the whole night I had to be hot because it’s summer. The parking lot is so small I had to look for parking outside because it was too packed. It’s ratchet as well, in the ghetto. The staff took forever checking me in. But the ac not working was what really irritated me because it’s literally July

Do not get a room in this location, my room was filthy everywhere , people smoking marihuana in front and side of the building , you can smell that on the hallways as well! Woke up at 5am with another couple getting into my room !! Supposedly they double keyed my room by mistake !! Worst experience ever
