The owner Jakob Was extremely helpful and pleasant. He seems to genuinely care about my families comfort and ability to enjoy ourselves during our stay at his establishment and in the local town. Also the cabin he showed was clean and nice and the room in the house we chose was like staying at Grandma's house. Wonderful!! SUPER IMPRESSED AND WE ARE ABSOLUTELY STAYING HERE AGAIN!!!!! I would highly recommend the Blue Anchor Motel to anyone would seeks an easy, friendly and affordable experience. I was fortunate enough to have been able to stay at this clean, cozy and very safe establishment. The owner Jakob was very accommodating and willing to work with me at extremely short notice. He met me upon arrival and showed me my room and made sure I had everything I needed and was comfortable. He was extremely responsive and easy to get ahold of when needed throughout my stay. A wonderful all around experience for me at the Blue Anchor Motel.
I stayed here 2 nights (in cabin/unit 3) & got bit by bedbugs or spiders! The first night i assumed it was spiders (as there was 2 waiting in my shower the next morning). The 2nd night I was sitting on the bed & received 2 more bites w/o a spider in site! I threw everything I had brought in there in the dumpster, threw the keys in her mailbox & never looked back! Left her a message & told her about the bedbugs rather or not the situation was taken care od idk!
This place is so cute and cozy. Quiet and peaceful place to stay. The beds are comfortable and the owner Jakob was very helpful accommodating and nice.
I was in the house part upstairs like 10 years ago and me and my wife heard a baby crying in are room. Then we heard foot steps come into are room and then we heard a women humming to the baby. That place is haunted
