Bludorn - New American restaurant in Houston - 807 Taft St, USA

The restaurant itself is very appealing. Parking can be tricky, I was lucky to find a spot because someone was leaving. Other than that it’s small and tight. Service was good. They were very attentive. We did half and half oysters. Half baked and half roasted. They were both delicious but I liked baked more. They don’t have the lobster pot pie anymore but to be honest it needed more lobster in it. Not a lot pieces. Baked Alaska was very delectable. They actually redesigned it, so it looks different now compared to like a few years ago.

When asked what the favorite dish was, everyone at the table had a different opinion but all agreed each dish was phenomenal. The service was intricate and made you feel like you were the only ones dining at the restaurant. Incredible dining experience and I cannot recommend Bludorn enough!

My family and I come here for brunch almost every Sunday and it never fails! The food is absolutely delicious. The raw oysters were fresh and great for an appitizer. We shared the (fluffiest) blueberry pancakes. The biscuits were 🫶🏼. And my main dish, the smothered biscuit, was def a 10/10!

Tried bludorn for anniversary dinner. Started octopus for starter. Both entree’s were excellent, lobster chicken pot pie had smoky southwest flavor w/ flaky crust. Beef Wellington was by far the best we’ve had. First time to try baked Alaska and did not regret it, horchata ice cream was extremely good!

My experience at Bludorn was incredible. Overall, it is one of the best experiences I have ever had. The service was phenomenal and the atmosphere was excellent. It is a perfect environment for a special occasion. The menu is well curated and we enjoyed everything we got. From oysters to a burger to a short rib ravioli, everything was a hit. We have already booked our next visit here.

The squash soup was absolutely fantastic. Amazing flavor. It is a cold soup which would normally turn me away, but glad we tried it because it was the best part of the meal. The burger was great but potato wedges on the side were the best part! Creamed spinach and salmon were great as well. Look forward to going back and trying the cocktails!

A great new addition to our list of favourite restaurants. Upscale, modern and great vibe with sophisticated atmosphere, Bludorn is fantastic! We had a great dining experience. We were there for a dinner on Saturday. Both the bar and restaurant were packed. They also have outdoor seatings. Very obvious that it’s so popular. So booking is essential. Our food were scrumptious and delightful. Fully recommend the Squash Soup and Mushroom Risotto for appetisers. The Octopus was really tender. The steak was succulent and cooked to perfection. I could taste the freshness of the Halibut. I loved every bite of the food that I tried. So tasty and flavourful. We had a few desserts. Baked Alaska and Beignets were delicious. Service was efficient. Staffs were knowledgeable and attentive. We valet parked our cars. So looking forward to go back for more!

Outstanding food experience. Hands down, one of the best meals I have had in awhile. The flavor was unlike anything else I’ve had. Each of us raved about our dishes all weekend!! I will forever crave the short rib raviolis as they Almost had a fig jam type sauce that was unexpectedly divine!! And the dessert cone will forever have my heart. If you want a true dining experience go here!! I was for sure be back here and recommend it to everyone I know for their next Houston visit. They outdid themselves!
