Excellent food with a delicate and delicious balance of Mediterranean spices! My salad was fresh and had a lovely dressing that was delicious! I had a lovely lamb gyro and the meat was so tender, perfectly cooked, and delightfully spiced! The service was odd. My main server was not overly friendly but their were four servers who were VERY attentive to picking up everything right away from our table (the straw wrapper, then the napkin holder wrapping, etc). It wasn't bad, just unusual. The atmosphere was warm and b inviting with a wonderful outside seating area that I definitely will have to come back to try. I'll be sure to save this one and try more menu items!
A great go to for a taste of the Mediterranean. Where to start...how about their garlic shrimp. Fresh, good garlicky butter balance. I'm a big big fan of their lamb shank. Prepared where the meat just off off the bone, accompanied with a nice fresh "greek" salad and bed of rice. They usually have a special that is an order for two, we really enjoyed their steak coulette...quality cut, charred just right to medium well. While the Baklava is their house specialty for a good reason, their rosewater ice cream is a MUST!! The place is always warm and welcoming, and its solid service which ties it all together. Go to Blue Olive and enjoy a great Mediterranean meal !
Absolutely delicious food, first time ever i've been there, and it is the absolute the best.
Mmmmm ... This place is yummy! We had the "big plate" of Lamb, Saffron Chicken, and Shrimp, and the "little plate" of Baba Ghanouj and the fried cheese. They were all great. We also had the Babek desert, and it was very tasty. We shared between 5 people, and it was just enough. The lamb was our favorite, definitely give that a try! The cocktails were also very good.
This place was recommended by a coworker of mine and it lived up to the hype! Cozy, cool atmosphere and delicious food. It was great seeing families and regulars come in while we were there. Nice neighborhood find!
Highly recommended. Quality of lamb 🐑 meat really good no smells of lamb. Yummy homemade saffron pistachios ice cream.
I loved the hummus. It was very busy during dinner so we got to go instead.
We had an excellent meal with wonderful service. They had a memorial or post funeral group in house when we came in during happy hour. The bar looks great, but with a concussion I couldn’t imbibe. My husband and I were looking for something darker and quiet and this had excellent ambiance, even with the large group in house. The food was wonderful! We got the Blue Olive Platter with Dalmas as an appetizer. My husband is GF and they kept the pita separated and everything else was good to go. We will definitely be going back. The lamb was seasoned great and tender. The kabob and chicken souvlaki were seasoned and cooked well. I loved the poached tomato served with it. Pairs well with those last two. The salad and rice are more than enough for two. You won’t leave hungry for sure. Well worth the price.
