The food is exquisite! Blu Hwy is a culinary gem! From the moment you walk in, the vibes are just right. The decor is trendy yet inviting, setting the stage for an unforgettable dining experience. The menu is a treasure trove of flavors, each dish more inventive and mouthwatering than the last. I'm talking about plates that are not only a feast for the taste buds but a visual masterpiece too. The atmosphere here is very relaxed but upscale. The staff is very attentive and helpful. The BH fries were recommended and did not disappoint. The shrimp tacos were refreshing and delicious. The salmon pasta was awesome and cooked to perfection. The fries were so exceptional, this restaurant was added to my out-of-town favorites list for every return visit to Kansas City.
Food was solid for sure, and the staff very pleasant. I would recommend this place to a friend and an excited to go back and try lunch or dinner (Had Sunday Breakfast here). Enjoy:)
Spouse and I drove 1.5hr here for a brunch date. We started with Espresso Martinis and Cinnamon Buns. Had Pork Carnitas and the Madame Cristo for mains then ended with the Lemon Ricotta-filled Crepes. Everything was delicious, the wait staff very attentive, and the entire experience was better than we could have imagined.
This place is so nice. We sat outside and had appetizers and dinner. It was so delicious and our server he was so kind. I forgot his name but he was very nice. It was a nice night out. Thank you.
Extremely pleased. Was a bit confusing finding the entrance. However, once we did, everything else was pretty darn impressive. Our host was very efficient and polite. She was also knowledgeable of the menu and ensured we had everything we needed. Excellent service. The food was absolutely delicious, and our favorite was the spinach Artichoke dip definitely recommended. The restrooms were clean and smelt good. It's definitely appropriate for family dining. They also have a patio and bar area. So, two thumbs up for me.
Atmosphere, service, and food were all fantastic! Our server, John, was attentive and kind. Gave excellent recommendations as we mentioned it was our first time dining there. After our meal, Rafael, stopped by our table to ask about our experience. I appreciated that gesture. We look forward to returning soon. Even the music in the restaurant was spot on!
Such a hidden gem! Brunch is off the chain. Their happy hour menu is amazing. The vibe is awesome. In the summer they open the garage slide doors to the patio and have live music. Cocktails are very good! For brunch you can get a carafe 50% with the purchase of a brunch entree. We love this place
