BlissPoint Inn & Suites Marion - Hotel in Marion - 6138 Corridor Dr, USA

This place is a disaster. The first room we were given had animal fur all over the room. Not a little hair but giant clump of fur. It looked like animals got into a fight. The second room air conditioner didn't work. Add on all the drug addicts in the parking lot and we simply walked out and never looked back.

I've came to this hotel a few times over the last 4 years and it has been crap Everytime. I was destroyed by bedbugs first time and when brought to the owners attention. He said you pay rent early or go. I took of my clothes and showed him and he said so what get out. And he legally took half my weekly rent cause there is no returns. So cam back a couple years later and new owners seemed nice. Checked the room s all was good. I til the guest they let in there are screw jobs. Men bringing escorts . Different kinds of drugs all over kids running around. They even caught the couch on fire. When they find out the furniture inside the rooms have bugs they take it to smoke section or they leave it in the hallway for you and your guest to sit on and visit. Same chair I sat on 2 years ago had my Initials on it. So I knew which was which. So we left. 6 months later we had to come back again for weekly rates. We called ahead of time and asked if the rooms had been finished cause they said they were new owners and fixing it. The guy said ya good to go. We said we'd be there early how much extra. Said nothing extra. Showed up and got to a room that stank of dog and toilet backed up. Asked for.different room. They take us to Jacuzzi sweet. Haha. Tub in the middle of the room don't work. Roaches crawling up through the drains. So we said nope. Asked for refund they said not for 5 to 10 business days. We just gave it to them . They take.it in seconds and may or may or may not give it back. So we said put us in a room top floor away from everything. Here's where it gets good. Not only did we get a room with a living room in it. But they arranged the room so jacked up you couldnt move or watch TV. Roaches came out of the microwave. I smell the mold the have moth balls in the plants in the hallways and air freshener everywhere. You can use them hiding like little Easter eggs and still smell the pot and the booze and cigs. So I spend 100$ and I bomb my room to kingdom come. Paid extra for the bedbugs killer and sat outside for 6 hours. Got back in bugs gone .. well fir a little while. I took the microwave apart and cleaned out years of roaches and put from the fridge. Tub is sink in the floor. And the bed is just a pop up frame..back is sore. Now first week the head lady comes up and knocks.o the door a day early or so we thought.we didn't get one knock for house cleaning amd supplies everything. And she comes up. Before we get to the door she attempted to walk in on her own in announced. Wife backed her up and she started to tell us pay room or get out. After 2 hours of arguing telling her what the boss said she wouldn't call him and the. Lied and said everyone is gone for the day and I saw them right after hiding in the office. They are gonna charge you a whole 100_ day for checking in 4 hours early. Not to mention 3 rooms it took before we got get our bug ridden room. I handed her the receipt for bug removal and she threatened to call the cops if I don't pay. She didnt show any remorse at all. Pay or I call cops. 10. Mind you..so I went and.got money. Brought it to them and it costed more then the week before. I left a note for the owner to contact me and I have t seen his face since. The watch those cameras. Ladies and gentlemen. We are leaving next week finally and this makes almost 2 weeks and yet to get toilet paper. And the people here are the same. Drug using constipation workers.. partying all out of the day and night. This place is a health hazard. And yes the elevator has not been serviced. The plaque is gone from inside. Last I seen it was checked 2015. No I am not racist at all. I am a workforce vet and lived in India and Iraq and Afghanistan and I know a lot about their way of life and Al this place is is like any other they are owned by the Patel which ones everything we need like hotels. Liquor stores. Gas stations. And I've been in 5 states this last year and 7 out of 10 all claim.to be named Patel. Well I know who they are and they are not here to give us good service. We are just cash cows and then they rotate owners

BEWARE! BEWARE! BEWARE! August 20th, 2024 I called BlissPoint Inn Marion and asked them if they had a cot. They said no, but they had a king-sized bed and a couch with a pull out bed. August 23rd, 2024, at 7:00 pm We checked into the room. They had a king-sized bed with a chair. So I went and talked to the front desk. The lady at the front desk argued with me and said that we did not pay for a room with a king-sized bed and a pull out couch. She reluctantly gave us a room with two queen sized beds. We moved to that room. The refrigerator was unplugged and broken, but my relative needed it for her diabetes medicine. We went to the front desk and told the lady that the refrigerator in the second room was broken and she went across the hall to the other room. She slid the refrigerator across the floor because she could not lift it and plugged it in, and that one worked. The bathtub was dirty with holes in it. Bathroom towels had mascara stains on them. The room was very dirty. Bed sheets were stained and very dirty. It had red stains on the bedsheets. No: [ ] Internet [ ] Cable [ ] Swimming Pool [ ] Fitness Center (had mattress filling the room, bed bugs) [ ] Outlet Cover We were only there for 4 hours because the daughter didn't trust bed with bed bugs. She put the pillow on the floor, and a rochroch came out of the baseboard. We never got a refund for that night along with $10.00 dog fee. Who would leave more dirt, my dogs being there for 4 hours or the rochroaches and bedbugs? We are so glad we left and didn't bring home the bedbugs, rochroaches and infect our house. Please don't say anything to me, the hotel manager. Instead of apologizing to everyone, start cleaning your hotel. Make it a safe place to stay.

I left 1 star because -102568 star wasn't available. IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR HEALTH OR THE HEALTH OF THOSE AROUND YOU, I WOULD ABSOLUTELY RE THINK YOUR DECISION TO STAY HERE. I know of at least 6-7 calls to the Grant County Health Department, and calls to the state, about the seriousness of amount of danger in this hotel. You would think this is what some refer to as a "crack hotel"... But it's not. Crackheads have higher standards of living then the family of 12 that live behind the front desk. I see comments about the smell, broken lights, no toiletries, towels, etc. FORGET all that. The amount of cockroaches will distract you from even realizing you're in a room YOU PAID FOR is not safe, smells like decomposition, and under a black light would make you jump in an acid bath. YOU ARE PAYING FOR THIS. Saw a review of someone pissed about not having breakfast like advertised. Don't be sad. Be glad - that is Jesus himself helping you dodge a bullet. I'm not talking about a room with cockroaches. I'm talking about a laundry facility crawling in them, SEVERAL IF NOT ALL ROOMS, public bathroom on first floor, elevators. If you decide to not listen to my advice because you're as brave as someone flying over the Bermuda Triangle ... Remember you were warned of the disaster that awaits for you and your family :) and if it gets to be to much, go out either side door by the pavilion and get ya a rusted beer bottle and smash your head with it. On any given day there is a nice selection of brand, color, and if you're lucky you'll step in a couple piles of vomit while browsing for the perfect bottle.

So we were visiting some friends in Marion and was looking for a place to say for the night. My recommendation is to not stay here. There is never any one at the front ever. Everything is closed and doesn't work. The A/C is the room was non Existent. I will say the tub and jets did work that was about it. The TV kept freezing up and there were only 2 towls in the room. We didn't want to take a shower the next morning. Don't plan on getting anything for breakfast. The coffee was terrible and by the can see not much there. We went to McDonald's instead. Outside of being right off the interstate is the only thing that this place has going for it.

Find another hotel/motel. The people that are running it are nice, but that's it! Walking down the hall to the room, the smell was awful, hence the reason they have air fresheners in every outlet trying to mask the smell of smoke and I am guessing mold. Get into the room and the bathroom was horrible. They have rubber mats placed down to cover up the stains on the tub. The walls around the tub looked like a cover-up to a crime scene. All furniture in room had stains. The breakfast was a little bit to be desired, you'd be better off going somewhere for that. They say they are part of chain, I am wondering what chain would keep their endorsement on them.

Safe hotel , but disappointed because pool were closed the whole time , keep saying next week when it’s obvisously not the case, housekeeping does not make the room while staying or offers new towels , bedsheets so and sob, so I had to do everything by myself ,there is no coffee machine in the room but a fridge and microwave. You couldn’t open the window to get some fresh air into the room , which is probably because of security to not jump out or idk.. which made the room hot so thanks that there was an AC that worked . On the third floor is a missing button for the elevator so you have to walk the stairs down which was kinda frustrating because we had kids and a stroller . But up you could go from main floor. Breakfast was at the beginning empty almost every single time no matter what time we got down but when we started to say something , they made sure to fill it up , so you had pancakes , muffins , yogurt , toast & jam , coffee . Anyways it was really quiet and comfortable ! The beds were good , the room nice , we had the king suit , and met some nice people there :) location is right on the interstate so not really to go somewhere ! Just a gas station with Wendy’s.

The staff was kind enough to allow us to check in an hour early. Unfortunately, we quickly noticed the hotel itself felt unsafe for us to stay. The manager was kind enough to except our removal of reservation. I am still currently waiting to receive my refund from the booking site I used. Hopefully in the future the location will be able to make repairs.
