Bliss Coffee Lounge - Coffee shop in Somerville - 14 E Main St, USA

This cafe is very pretty (IG worthy decor). Wanted to try an espresso flight which they had advertised but they were out of the ones in the display, so I passed and ordered an iced latte with almond milk (they use unsweetened I think), an iced matcha latte (both good). They answered questions and made helpful suggestions which was super nice.. Also tried one of their pastries...I asked for apple, but they were very confused about what fillings were in which pastry and said it could be apple, raspberry or Nutella, it ended up being cherry. not a fan of cherries but I ate around them and the bits I could eat were good. Could be an issue though for people with allergies or if you don't want to pay for something you didn't want. The overall vibe is cool, and the drink options are fun and varied. I believe they also offer food but I can't speak on that.The staff were friendly and there are plenty of options for seating indoor and out. There's street parking and its in walking distance to lots of other cute shops. Check them out if you're in the area.

I've been going here for a few months now and would highly recommend it as a coffee lounge and general place to relax or work. The staff are very friendly, the atmosphere is mellow, and there's ample seating and lighting. Its a great place for meeting a friend, reading a book, or doing computer work. The coffee is excellent, well sourced and batch roasted with hand-crafted and unique options (I recommend the Downtown Dulce). You can also order actual meals and they have a small selection of delicious desserts as well. Something to note though, this is a much more relaxed environment than your typical Starbucks. Its more of a sit-down and hang-out place, and not an in-and-out in three minutes sort of place. It may take just a few minutes longer than average to get your coffee, so if you're in a rush just order ahead online. But its one of the most interesting and niche places in Sommerville and if you're visiting Main Street, I highly recommend you start your day with a trip to Bliss Coffee.

Owner is very knowledgeable and helpful. Espresso is very robust and flavors are well balanced. Got a cortado that was less milky than I expected based on past experience with many other cafes and he spent a lot of time explaining the difference and his authentic approach to making drinks. Overall, will def recommend both for drinks and customer service. Place has a lot of seating for intimate conversations.

I was on a hunt for cute coffee spots in the Central Jersey area when I found this spot. This place has such a great location in the heart of downtown Somerville. Ambiance - plenty of cozy seating inside both in the main seating area and in the back of the store area, plenty of seating outside. - great study spot - cozy, generally more quiet Service - friendly staff - quick service Drink - Classic Cold brew- a good strong brew, refreshing I've been back to this place a few times to get some cold brew and get some work done. I'd love to bring my friends to this place and enjoy some of their other food and dessert options.

Such a cute place! The ambiance is perfect for gathering with friends, a date, or even just to get some work done. Drinks and food are delicious and the staff is lovely. They even do open mic some nights!

I had a wonderful experience at Bliss this afternoon. The atmosphere was calm, clean, and delightful. I ordered the ultimate and chai latte and it came out amazing and tasted delicious. The bartisa, Mia was attentive and extremely helpful. Will be back again soon. Highly recommend!

Such a cute coffee place. I tried their tiramisu latte. Tasted exactly like the dessert. A little too sweet. Ambiance was great. Nice place for a quick bite to eat.

(Original review - see edit below) The service here was good, and the interior is a pretty nice rendition of the current cafe trends. The chai latte I had was decent, more sweetness and milk and less chai taste. I wish they had more options for types of coffee, I was told they have just their house blend, but it was pretty good. I will come back again and hope to enjoy the drinks enough to bump my review up a star EDIT: I see the cafe responded and after coming back to Bliss more often tried more of their drinks and saw a lovely open mic night. Highly recommend bliss for their drinks and their events.
