Blind Tiger Asheville - Hotel in Asheville - 173 E Chestnut St, USA

We decided last minute to stay the night in Asheville. This spot was a great value and not far from many restaurants and shops. We stayed on a Monday night and were the only ones in the main house. They did a great job with this place. Check in was easy and the employee was still there and gave us a tour and showed us to our room. The one room on the main floor had many mirrors so I asked if it was haunted. They said no and we never heard or saw anything that it was. The house was typical for an old home, floors were definitely not level. They have great snacks to offer. There were games to watch play. We played dominoes. They offer sound machines but the individual a/c units in each room are probably enough. Our room had a sitting room, bedroom and separate bathroom. Unfortunately I missed taking some pics here but recommend staying here.

The room was incredibly comfortable, with every detail thoughtfully designed to ensure a relaxing stay. The bed was plush, the linens were top-notch, and the ambiance was perfect for a restful night's sleep. The highlight of my stay, however, was the wonderful staff. From the moment I arrived, they went above and beyond to make sure I felt welcomed and taken care of. Their warm hospitality and attentive service truly made my visit memorable. I highly recommend the Blind Tiger to anyone visiting Asheville – it’s a perfect blend of comfort and outstanding service!

We enjoyed our stay, the staff was very friendly and accommodating. They went out of their way to put breakfast out for us one of the days of our stay, much earlier than the regular scheduled breakfast time, due to an early trip we had to make that day. The room was clean and comfortable. We would definitely recommend this place to others!

This is a nice place, in a great location, and very unique. It has a pleasant and chill vibe that was enjoyable. The price is on the high side though compared with some other places. The staff were really nice, so my 3 stars is not to reflect on the staff, but rather, the breakfast, which was very simple prepackaged items and some bagels. They do have a small espresso machine and coffee..

The process of checking in is very streamlined. The bed, pillows were all very cozy. It had everything of a 5 star hotel. My husband were both very pleased with our stay and it will definitely go on my stay again list. I highly suggest Blind Tiger for a stay.

We stayed in Cottage 8 and loved it! This is really neat place, with a lot of history and character. It's the perfect balance between a full-service hotel and rental house - private and small, but with staff around if you need anything. The main house has a large common area on the first floor. Very cool interior design. There is a cabinet full of treats and toiletries, as well as a coffee bar. The hotel is located within an easy walking distance to lots of shops and restaurants. Parking is easy (off street, in the hotel's parking lot). Cottage 8 has a kitchenette, living area, and separate bedroom. We were only there for a night, but it would be an ideal base to explore the Asheville area. Highly recommend and would return in a heartbeat!

The place is really lovely- beautifully eclectic & comfy decor, great location, and everything necessary in the room to make for a great stay. The sheets are dreamy. My husband said I drifted off to sleep murmuring "these sheets..." The espresso machine was kind of a combo milk steamer/espresso thingy and not functioning, so offering espresso is misleading; overall the breakfast was quite disappointing. Nothing like the website photo. Simple is great. Asheville is full of fabulous bakeries, but pre-wrapped stale chocolate croissants and oatmeal biscuits and sugary oatmeal packs is pretty sad. There was a sleeve of English muffins, luckily, and plastic packs of jams, butters, and cream cheeses. There's so much good jam locally! Missed opportunity, especially at this price point.

We had an amazing stay at the blind tiger. The albers room on the third floor was so spacious and clean and modern ! Bed was so comfortable! It was quiet and a great place to retreat to after a fun day exploring Asheville ! The high quality goodies at the breakfast bar were yummy ! Would highly recommend! Location was perfect ! Staff so welcoming and accommodating!
