The farmhouse was amazing during the Independence Day holiday. We were able to bring our dog and allow her to enjoy in all the river fun. The Farmhouse has its own private access to the river including a concrete patio and staircase providing awesome river access and enjoyment. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!
This place is nestled in the hill country tucked away like it should be. It is so relaxing that you feel like you are a world away from the hustle and bustle of the city. My son and I had the opportunity to hang out by the creek area and play with the owner's dog as well. I will definitely come back at some point.
This place is so beautiful and relaxing. The ranch managers Kate and Randy along with the other ranch hand were very hospitable beyond what was expected. We even decided to stay an extra day because we loved it so much. The kids loved the pickleball court and the ranch dog Lucy. You don't have to bring anything but clothes, food and river chairs! We will be back soon!
This place is beautiful!! I travelled with the family and the highlight of our trip was the River. It was my first time showing my daughter and son how to fish and we caught one!!! They were so excited! We used grasshoppers as bait which also made it exciting to catch as well. The place is beautiful and peaceful. No need to go anywhere else off the ranch.
This is our 4th time out and we love it every time we go! This is a 2,000 acre ranch with lots of private river frontage on the Blanco river. It's close to Wimberley, shops and restaurants. Wineries aren't too far either. Randy is so personable! If he's out and about on his golf cart and sees you he is likely to offer you a little tour of some of the Ranch!
Loved the place, secluded enough for a weekend to disconnect, yet Wimberly and other towns where at a short drive for a change of wind. Nice to have the Blanco river at foot steps. The happy house is so cute and the whole place is picturesque. Kate and everyone were so nice. We are definitely going back.
