Blanchard Woods Park - Park in Evans - 4600 Blanchard Woods Dr, USA

2023-07: Still a beautiful park with a scenic trail with a lot of wildlife to see. My most recent visits included a treat of seeing a turtle along the trail, as well as baby frogs in many places and dragonflies that wanted to pose for pictures. 😂. Well traveled and marked is some places but a little more rugged in some places. It's a cross country track, but there are some great portions of it for families with kids on the younger side. 2021-11: This is a very nicely kept area with multiple sports fields, BMX course, and skate park located at the furthermost end. There are public restrooms there as well. At the front of the park, right past the entrance is an unpaved parking area with a small playground, as well as the entrance to a nice walking/jogging/cross country trail that goes around the perimeter of the park. I spent a good bit of time on the trail and enjoyed seeing some wildlife without the "city sounds". I look forward to going back to see more of the trail.

Attended grandchild’s soccer tournament at this park. The park is suitable for organized sports. There is a nice little playground accessible from the gravel parking lot but not located inside the playing field fence. The gravel parking lot can be treacherous for disabled folks but there are also paved parking areas & walkways if you drive to the back side of the park. Restrooms were available.

It's a beautiful park with things to do for everyone. I do wish some of the trails were paved so that it wasn't so hard on my dog to walk (on uneven gravel) but nonetheless, the trails are amazing, the soccer fields are well kept and you can't help but to enjoy yourself when you come.

Beautiful fields, clean restrooms, snack bar, great night game lighting and free wifi. Great place to watch the kids soccer games. Safe parking and wheelchair accessible and dog friendly. The county does a great job maintaining these fields for their rec soccer leagues! While you there, check out the BMX racetrack and skate park!

Very nice park with baseball & soccer fields, BMX course, skate park, and 2.5 miles of wooded trails for hiking. I love this spot!

easy to get to this park. has great 3 mi. trail for a leg workout and someone else was correct about the maps on the wrong posts (needs map-reading skills) no bugs but be aware, saw others making ready for a backpacking trip and some runners. walked it CCW & CW, 60/40 shade (sun at noon). has soccer fields, skatepark and a BMX track. won't be long before the housing tracs encircle it.

This was the first skateboard park I have been too. It is a very nice park. As you drive in from the main entrance of the park the GPS is a little misleading. If you follow the GPS around the soccer field on your right, drive straight towards the back of the parking lot until it curves to the left. Once it curves there is a parking lot that is dirt/grass right in front of the skateboard park or you can park in the paved parking lot that is in front of the bathrooms. About the skateboard park itself, it seems to be mainly for teens and adults. I have two younger children and there was not much for them to do unless your child is more advanced with skateboarding. This would be an okay park for younger advanced children. Unfortunately, my kids are new to skateboarding and there are no little ramps for them. I have looked up the area I live in and this is the closest park to us. Hopefully one day they will build a smaller skateboard park for younger children to skate. Until then I'll continue to look for other parks that have smaller ramps for younger children. This park was fun, however its more for teens, adults, and advanced children. The main park itself has running trails, playground, volleyball, soccer, baseball? and over near the skateboard park there is a bike track to race bicycles. Watching them was pretty neat!

Blanchard woods park is a great place to do some cardio and practice soccer. And you can find pick up games some Tuesday and Thursdays. Also, there is a playground near the entrance
