This park received a facelift with new equipment when the Mariano's was built. There is a small playground, shelter and a baseball field.
Nice playground equipment and a clean park with its own parking lot.
People drinking and smoking around this place. Not recommended for family and kids. This place highly insecure as I see people partying with loud music just next to this park.
Clean park with lots to do for kids of all ages. Our 2 yr old had a blast. Super cool that it's location is near a grocery as well. Highly recommend this park to be a regular spot for your family.
Newer park with lots of colorful play areas that encourage balance training (core). I find it great for small kids or a workout for the whole family. Next to it there is a field where some kids had soccer class. You can walk around the field, bike or roller skate. Another convenience is the Mariano's store, where you can buy food or snacks and eat outside at the tables in the sheltered area. Have fun and be safe!
Blackhawk Park is a enjoyable park to go have as a kid, teen, or adult. You can have fun in the playground, play a game of soccer, walk around the outer route, or just hang out in the pavilion. You can even host events or use the griller.
Too close to road, noisy, people partying smoking and drinking close to park, not suggested for family with kids and elderly people. We found wine bottles on the pathway between Mariano and Park, we felt this place is less secure than other parks. Not a place to visit second time.

Reopened, with a really, well, interesting playground. New shelter with picnic tables near the playground, large open field, and the natural areas aligned with a nice walking path around are huge improvements over the pre-Mariano's Blackhawk Park.
(Splash pad) Monday around 2pm (summertime july) kids loved it, pretty small but they spent couple hours running around enjoying themselves. Water is warm, no complaints. We was by ourselves mainly, quiet time? 7 dollars non resident, there is family
Nice park to take family to to play some games like frisbee, tag, or games like that. Also for Pogo players there is two Pokemon stops and 2 gyms there also. Also great place to walk a dog. There is garbage and bags available.
From the first phone call to schedule my first lesson Natalie was welcoming, friendly, and professional. Having had no dance experience she was able to make the lessons comfortable and change teaching style for what each individual person needs.
Very grateful and happy for the opportunity to learn about CrossFit in this house! The atmosphere, energy, learning experience,everything is for absolute recommendation!
