Blackbeard's Triple Play Restaurant & Bar - Bar & grill in New Bern - 415 S Front St, USA

This unique concept of two places in one is pretty cool. Each side has a unique look and cool atmosphere. The food was pretty good and good size portions. Service however was on the slower side, she didn’t check in on us as much as I felt she should have with the amount of time we were there and they establishment charges you a 3% fee if you pay with debit or credit card. I’d go back but only cause it seamed like a cool place and I’d have to ensure I wasn’t in a hurry. Location has street parking so expect a small walk if you can’t find parking close. I loved the fish tank bar with real fish inside.

We did not eat. We stopped in to see the band Chocolate Chips. They are the best band and had the whole place shaking. The crowd was a great mix of young and old. The band played in the back bar area. It was open to the elements but nicely cooled by the large fans. There was a nice flow of people. Some are standing in the parking lot smoking area, and there was also an outside patio where some bikers can pull up and still hear the music.

They don't exactly have food and the in house vodka is the owners brand. It's not bad and is different flavors but the main attraction is the bathroom! Yep, heated seats and equipped with a bedai!! I didn't know what to think except I could fall asleep on that thing. They have TP too so don't worry. They also have a cool microbrewery in there as well.

I was with my dad and my husband when we arrived in New Bern. We found a parking spot and exited our vehicle. To our amazement we came across this local pub, Blackbeard’s sports bar and restaurant. The atmosphere was delightful. Around 2pm, Thursday afternoon we had 3 bowls of clam chowder and fried pickles. The food was delicious. The beers being poured were local and lively as well. Shelby our bartender was very friendly and welcoming. She was warm & kind. She offered us a sample of their tasteful vodka. I really enjoy seeing local pubs hop on the bandwagon making their own spirits. Thank you for a wonderful afternoon Blackbeard! We will remember !!

Amazing hamburger. Very juicy with a great bun. The plate was a perfect size, just enough to make you full with a few extra fries. Those fries were excellent. Even when the large pool of burger juice/grease got to them they were still just as crispy. Both crispy and fluffy inside with a good flavor and thickness. The Christmas tree was stunning btw. Now for some reason my to go box just... didn't have a hole to close it? I hope they check out the others that have been shipped.

Triple play is a unique place! Three restaurants bats all attached owned by the same person but each has its own feel. Ones more sports bar, ones more restaurant and ones more brewery. It does really matter what you go to because you can order all menu items from either. There's a lot of cool fish tanks the middle restaurant focus one has a fish tank bar which is super cool. The food is great and it's located in the middle of downtown not too far from the Riverwalk and park. Definitely worth a visit.

First and foremost, it’s a sports bar. But I knew that. Cool decor. Awesome staff. Staff was up front about the kitchen being backed up. So we knew what to expect. The Mac & Cheese poppers were delicious. The Hot Hamburger Plate was good. The place was packed but the atmosphere was lively and the DJ kept it fun. Plan on going back and giving the seafood a go. Stop in and enjoy. Cheers.

Great little spot. Staff is friendly and professional. Decor is awesome. Don't normally take pics of the bathroom, but sliding barn door on the stall. Little beer holder by the urinal and keg sinks. The bar has a fish tank. Food was good, but different. Had the local oysters on the half-shell. Not my favorite oysters, but it's a food adventure so, good enough. Fries were perfect. Ribs a touch over done but hot a nice sweet sauce that brought it home. Mac and cheese was creamy. Not my favorite cheese, but a solid side. If you like creamy, this is it. Service was excellent. Everything was clean. Food came out fast. Would definitely dive into the menu a little more if I had the time. Great spot, if you're passing through or just visiting, this is the place to be. Beer selection is solid and even got some local peach moonshine.
