Great tasting food. It had been a while since we ate here. My plate was awesome... the lamb with a tomato hot sauce. I got the hot sauce on the side because I'd never tried it before... but when it's mixed with tzatziki sauce.... phenomenal! I always get the Turkish lemonade, which has free refills... plus it tastes great with my meals. It's definitely worth a trip here, whether you eat inside or do take-out.
I am Turkish and I was thrilled when I see this place on Google. I ordered a beef kebab. This dish does not look very Turkish to me however, the marination of the meat gives that impression. The sauce they brought to the table also had a Turkish taste with a different serving.
I’d give a 3.5 stars for this place..we got a hummus plate, falafel and chicken kebab. Food was very fresh and flavorful and the service was super quick. I personally found my dish to be too dry to eat and i had to order a side of hummus on the side to go with the falafel. I was told the chicken was well cooked and not too dry. In a nutshell, this place besides being easy on the wallet, has some good options! Ps- I was impressed to see vegetarians options section on the menu!
Decent gyros with great flavor and the tzatziki sauce isn’t super thick. Black Sea is hits the spot for a quick and fresh bite. Pita is a little too flat for my taste, but it’s still enjoyable. The gyro isn’t drenched in sauce so it’s not soggy if you take it home, which is nice, and a perfect lunch the next day. I would come back for something small.
As I'm writing this, I'm already planning on my next visit. The service is amazing, with some of the most friendly workers I've ever seen. The food itself is great and cheap. The spicy kofte kebab plate had a really unique taste that was great. I also recommend any of the sandwiches. Definitely a great restaurant if you want Mediterranean.
They got more choices and everything is pretty delicious 😋
The eggplant and fries were delicious! The meat was a little dry and not what I was hoping for and lack of grilled veggies like it said it came with! Overall, good prices. Today was takeout only in the restaurant for whatever reason so no comment on the inside.
First time trying this place. Felt like we found a hidden gem in this area!! The food tastes soo great and the portion is so big that we had a leftover to go. Especially the baklava is the best one we'd ever had so far in a middle eastern restaurant. The owner or the server is super friendly and welcoming. The food was ready super fast. Though the place is a little small with limited seats, unlike other similar restaurants, it's very clean and tidy and neat. Given the amazing food quality and large quantity, and the awesome service here, the price is super economic and affordable to everyone. Since it's close to the college campus, I bet it's super popular among college students. We will definitely come again and dine here more often. Highly recommended!!
We had my sonâs 11th birthday party at D1 and Kris and his staff did not disappoint! The kids had such a blast the entire time playing dodgeball, tug of war and football as well as racing each other pushing the sleds. They were all exhausted when
