I love this place, and I love the staff. I made a change from another coffee place to here about a year ago, and not only is my coffee experience consistent, but the staff at this location is amazing. They look to be enjoying themselves, and their jobs all of the time. This is the perfect atmosphere for a business. I really think the management and staff of this location deserves recognition. Thank you for changing my mind.
Coffee was delicious , service was great, and I liked that they had gluten free bagels . Cons: I went here to get some work done on my computer ..they could not have furnished this place with more uncomfortable chairs. So just a heads up if your planning on hanging out here these wire chairs are no bueno..I left after 10 min
The key to a good coffee shop is if they can do a good latte without all the syrup. Black Rock delivers on this consistently. Bonus, the oat milk they use tastes good too. And for those looking for a decaf espresso, they have it and it's very good. For alternatives to coffee, the iced teas and the matcha lattes (with a pump of raspberry) are good choices. For a treat, get the pop tart.
Definitely a great Starbucks alternative. It has a similar Starbucks look inside, and a drive through, but not too busy. I don’t think it’s in a good spot for business, because it’s kinda hidden and out of the way, but they have great coffee with plenty of flavor options and friendly, fast service. They even have energy drinks with many great flavor options. Definitely go here. Support local
Wanted to grab a smoothie real quick before practice so I was in a rush and the speed of service exceeded my expectations! The girl at the window even reminded me for my phone number so I could get points-I totally would have forgotten!
This was my first time here. I got a breakfast burrito and iced caramel latte.
The burrito was alright, not sure if I'd order it again. The iced caramel latte was awful. Idk if they forgot to put in caramel flavor or what, but it was bitter and I could not drink it.
Always a bummer trying somewhere new and being underwhelmed. I will probably never go back.
We love Black Rock Coffee! Despite the prices, it has almost become a morning ritual to drop in for coffee, and sometimes a snack, before sitting down for a long day of studying or work! Unless you like your coffee sweet, be sure to ask for unsweetened laté or you will most likely get it with sweetened milk/creamer of what you ordered. I'm a huge fan of their cold brew, easy ice black! Don't forget to join their rewards, no app here!
Awesome coffee shop! Great location in Tempe! Great environment/atmosphere!! Had a Starburst Fuel, Carmel Blondie Chiller and Green Apple Smoothie!!!! OMG!!! Costumer's service was excellent!¡!¡! Very busy, but not a long wait!!

Stopped in here for a matcha latte and pour over. The best matcha latte Iâve ever had and I was told the pour over was excellent as well. Chatted with the owner for a minute and you could tell he was a very kind and considerate person. Great vibes
